      Not trying to ruin anything men,just i don't understand people being obsessed with skyrim,or any particular game,and by that i mean to play that game over and over again,i understand coming back to game after some period of time passed,because you really want to play it again,but having it installed all the time,that's just depressing sorry not trying to be rude :/
      P.S i don't know how old are you,but you can get yourself pc pretty cheap,specially if you build it(what i did)

      I played Skyrim when it came out in 2011,i don't know how you deducted that,from few words i have put in my comment,just because i don't like it so much,it doesn't mean anything,game was good for one play trough,and that's about it,i did all side quests,got all the weapons i like,armors,did all guilds,so yeah i had fun and that was it.

    • @Rushv0
      @Rushv0 6 лет назад +1

      I have been playing it for 5 years pretty consistently. I stopped around 2015 and then bought it on PC and now every month or so I come back to it for a few days and add more mods to it and play through it in different ways. Everytime I play the game I find something new about it I didn't even notice even though I have probably too many hours in it.

      @USDS_TikTok_Mike 4 месяца назад

      @nicole382 it's genuinely timeless art. It's lightning in a bottle. The little quirks and sometimes even the silly bugs are part of the charm for me personally. People always joke about how "Skyrim has been released a million times blah blah" and yeah it's a funny meme... but when you actually look at it... there IS a reason this game has been re-released and improved for newer platforms so many times over the years. That doesn't just happen in the industry as a normal practice because reproducing it and adapting it for new consoles costs a lot of money, yet it still sells so well.. because. it's just THAT good of a game.... and because after all these years people STILL download it and play it.

    Anyone remember the unveiling of Skyrim ,spike tv I think it was ,back in -10.
    Goosebumps
    Man how I love this game.
    And I was late to the party ,mainly played sports games ,but this got me so hooked.
    Just upgraded it to the series S/X standard ,and doing my 2nd play through as we speak ,nice and easy ,exploring every inch of the map

    The special edition (PS5 version especially) does some heavy lifting nowadays compared to the base version like in this video. Environment looks so dull compared to the “new” release. Unironically thankful they kept releasing new versions.
    Edit: 28:37 played this for the first time in years recently, the moment in bleak falls did indeed stick out to me. The “first” main boss fight in the game. Beautiful stuff, that whole dungeon has graduated from tedious to nostalgic.

    I have sympathy for people who weren't able to experience the insane pre-release hype for Skyrim and then the feeling of playing it for the first time in 2011. Even so many years later, it still feels like such a behemoth of a game. There was Skyrim and then GTA V a couple years later, and it seemed like gaming would only get better. But then all we seemed to get was regression. Witcher 3, Breath of the Wild, and Elden Ring are the only games that I can truly say have pushed against the mediocrity but there was never any game that made me feel as hopeful for the future as Skyrim.

    Some games just grab you and stay with you. Skyrims world and moment to moment is what Bethesda do so well. Story is ok. But exploration and role play is why we love Skyrim. For addictive grinding and gameplay incredible story Final Fantasy 7 and 10 are in my top 5 games of all time. Simply amazing, the story feels all the more relevant to real life than ever, 7 for environmental impact of humans, 10 for the cultural and religious bickering that kills so many people pointlessly. Obviously Fallout 3 and New Vegas are top ten, Fallout 4 is saved by its world and improved gunplay but story is average. I’d put Bioshock in top ten, and moving away from story and sandbox worlds Unreal Tournament 2004 still my all time favourite shooter. The levels, soundtrack, weapons, perfect. Can’t afford pc gaming so played UT 3 on PS3, still have my copy shame servers are off. I still jump back in occasionally. And Gran Turismo blew me away in 1998, it felt real, all the tinkering tuning parts. If the only games series were Gran Turismo, Grand Theft Auto, Fallout and Elder Scrolls that would be enough alone with what they offer. After I’ve said all that I’m addicted to Destiny 1, addicted to endless loot grind in the hope of god rolls of all the best weapons. I will return to Destiny 2 first the last expansion but for me Bungie nailed it with Destiny 1 in year 2 when Taken King came out. Back to topic…. I’m worried Bethesda have dropped the ball. F76 is ok now but not amazing. I’ve played a bit of Starfield and if that’s what’s held up ES6 it wasn’t worth it. I know they wanted to make a game in space but it’s unacceptable how long they take. Obsidian were given a strict time limit of 18 months to make NV, hence all the bugs but still arguably the best Fallout game ever. At this rate ES6 will be 18 years since Skyrim. That is inexcusable how can they think it’s not. I was happy with Special Edition it really improved the PlayStation experience no end. I bought the game yet again with Anniversary Edition but come on it’s 2024 where the hell is ES6? Please let Obsidian make Fallout 5. Or at the very least give fans what we want; remastered Fallout 3 and NV. We don’t need a remake, just a polish up for consoles and the chance to go after all the trophies again like we did with Skyrim Special Edition.
