- Måneskin is taking a walk back down memory lane and telling Access Hollywood's Zuri Hall all about when they formed the group at age 15. Since then, they’ve gone on to win Eurovision in 2021, sell out Madison Square Garden in New York and got nominated for a Grammy Award. They've also met some incredible musicians along the way, like Dolly Parton… and Taylor Swift even blew them a kiss at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. While chatting with Access the band revealed why they missed that sweet moment. Although they didn't catch Taylor's nice gesture, they would still love to work with her or other notable stars like Miley Cyrus and Olivia Rodrigo. It amazes me how wholesome they really are at their core.
They are great interviewees. I love that they are forthcoming and not shy. They are so considerate and inclusive of each other. They feel like a family.
Every band, currently, sounds so much alike. Maneskin sounds great and individual. You can pick them out by their unique sound. This is how bands should be.

Good points. Doing something different would've been better. Still some ppl (like myself) had never heard it pronounced. Especially by them. I had never even heard of the band until the VMAs.

I'm sorry but I find it a little annoying that they made "Måneskin want to collab with Taylor Swift" the title of the video because MÅ did not even bring up her name, interviewer did. What were they supposed to do, say "nooo we'd rather not collab with Taylor" 😅. No offence to Taylor, I love her but please don't make everything about American artists.

the biggest issue in their marketing and interviews is, that the interviewers almost never ask good questions. their personalities, bond, struggles, challenges, the stories of overcoming those etc. don't get to see the light of day. i hate that i know what to expect from these interviews, and i am not excited to watch them cause we rarely get good ones

Changing the way of writing music, that was their CAPITAL mistake. It worked so much better before. This new stuff lacks originality and IDENTITY. It's not groundbreaking. They need to go back to the old songwriting method for their next work.
I disagree. First of all, they have always said they wanted to sing in English, since the beginning ( but their management didn't approve), it's not that they have changed oneday and "lost their identity" and anyways their lyrics in English are improving a lot (The driver is amazing for example). People just like to complain and say "sing in Italian!" but their songs in Italian in their album Rush! are the less listened to. Fact.

I don't know another band who do the same music as they do. There are so many different types of rock songs on rush. Who can sing ballads, dance music, punk songs, pop rock and rap rock in two languages and play it with analog instruments without any back tracks?

Prima si riunivano tutti e 4 insieme e provavano finché arrivavano a qualcosa che piacesse a tutti. Adesso ognuno scrive qualcosa PER CONTO SUO (immagino usando un'app di editing musicale) poi scelgono fra i pezzi che ognuno ha scritto individualmente. Certo, prima ci mettevano più tempo ma è così che hanno sempre lavorato i GRANDI GRUPPI, chissà perché! i'm italian and what disturb me a lot with US interviewers is that they always ask the same kind of questions like "what it feels like to be famous in the united states " ? " what it feels like to meet great US artists" ? etc.. ok guys... America is a great country, the center of the world ! but as europeans we are great too, just remenber that ..
I absolutely agree. They have won lots of awards, they are a Grammy-nominated band, have opened for the Rolling Stones, won Eurovision etc but they are still getting asked how they feel to meet famous artists. Hallo?! They ARE famous artists as well!

I found them only a few weeks ago..fell down their rabbit hole and now they are my all time favorite band!!!!
I am the same. I discovered them at the very end of September, just in time to buy tickets to the show in Irving Texas. I wish I would have known more about them before the show, because I left the concert before the end, for a couple of reasons 1) my daughter is disabled and I was thinking that we needed extra time2) because a friend drove us to the show, even though I didn't have a ticket for him and I was trying to be considerate of him. Even though he told me he didn't want us to miss a second of the show. Since the concert, I have been watching them on RUclips and I saw how they let everyone come on the stage 😮 the venue was much smaller than I expected so we actually had great seats. I'm glad because we paid 400$ for 2 tickets which was pretty expensive but sooo worth it. It was a truly amazing experience either way, and I probably would have freaked out and pissed myself if I got that close to any of them, 😂 so maybe it was meant to be, that's we left early and I was being a good Mommy. Lol!

Taylor has some songs like I Can See You, Better Than Revenge, The Story Of Us and Haunted that I feel like can fit with Måneskin's style.
