Hope it works out for people buying in high water table area. Personally I would not. I would have bought in the second area that is dry. Water is the most destructive force in real estate.

I believed he spoke about a solution for the rainy season and how he planned to redirect the water.

@@audreyappleby8531 he did. He planned on creating a lake to catch the water being directed by the City Road. But there isn't a solution for high water table. Here in the states they wouldn't allow you to build on it unless you connect house to city sewer line. You can put a septic ( soak away) on such a land in the States. You would have to do line channel to spread the soak away water across the topsoil and place several rock layers to further filter water before to hits ground water. People don't realize high water table means fewer sediments to filter water from too before it reaches well you are tapped into. I see he did add filters to the house. I home two houses in the states and completed several rehabs. The one thing I found to be key to simply stay away from water issues such as flood zones. Another thing people should consider building the foundation three to four feet above the ground just in case the lake over run from a heavy rain season. I just want my people to be wise and do the research. Know full well what you getting into. Again I would prefer his lot in the dry area.

It's a non-issue as long you use damp proofing.

I don’t like the idea of having HOA. You should be able live on your property freely and not to be restricted by some bylaws.
