    Super and easy explanation to prove that momentum operator is hermitian. I had watched many videos giving a tedious explanation for this.

      For 2s orbital it is 2-0-1=1 node

      trigonometric and exponential generally asked for eigen value type questions... I didn't find for hermitian in csir net exam, if you have then do let me know I'll solve that

    K.E operator comes out to be a positive quantity on solving which means its not hermitian..

      pragati swain ...okay i guess the answer lies in first line of question that since it is non commuting hermitian operator then [A,B]+=(BA-AB)+=[B,A]+ or -[A,B]+ i.e. anti hermitian operator ....and for antihermitian operator eigen value are imaginary
