I use 3-4 drops of peppermint + 2 drops of lunar on my 3x3. Works like a charm, it gets really smooth and gets a great speed, plus it becomes very, very silent.
@@lxyreyn3163 It's on the Gan X V2, actually, previously on the Gan Air Pro, both relatively scratchy cubes. I have a YLM Magnetic 3x3, and it also did work great, but it feels a bit more gummy than the Gan cubes, probably because my YLM has strong magnets.

I think that the qiyi ms is probably good enough, but once you are trying to get sub 12 or faster you should probably upgrade. The RS3M 2020 isn't automatically amazing, but if you tension it, set spring compression, lube it, it can become just as good as any cube for so much more money. so in conclusion, i would wait a little bit to upgrade, but once you do if you are on a budget, get the RS3M 2020, but if you have more money, but a flagship (like the WR M 2021 or maybe even a gan cube).

I'm getting lube for my new gan 11 m pro. I'm thinking about getting Lunar lube or Martian lube. My cube is like.. sticky when I turn it slow (like when I'm learning algorithms) so I just want a smooth lube that doesn't make my cube slower and you just happened to be making a video on both of the lubes I might get! if you're looking for smoothness and for i not to slow down i guess the combination he used could be best with a 5 and Martian or maybe replace 5 with 4

I never bought the lube, i just use my hair oil 😌 I'm serious its works well. Not because lube takes additional cost. I use weilong wr maglev and using the hair oil.... May be try it one of your cube and say the difference between general lube and this. As i have never bought the original lube, i don't know how it feels. And note** hair oil doesn't kill or ruin the plastic i can confirm as I'm using a cube for 5 years and it still like new after done 100k+ solves
