We used to holiday there , every year for 24 years two weeks at a time august /september, lionstone house on ryde sea front, we rented a flat there for many years, then we went to camping , the camp site sadly closed down years back now, with a caravan, so many memories seeing your videos , night fishing there and on the pier touring the island, great carnival and the scooter rally each year, those chip shops are great, and watching all the ship from the flat window, sad how a lot of the shops have closed down that we used to go in, they ruined the sea front by the pier and bus station there were historic building there all changed have got so many photo's and video's from there of our visits, sand zoo and birds were very nice, and blackgang chine is worth a visit, hovercraft used to be £ 7,50 return, that gone up a lot . so as the ferry,.
Hi, just come across your video. Always interesting to see videos of my home town, you actually walked past my house! During the winter I use the hovercraft regularly to go to football at Portsmouth. Supporters get a special deal of £15.

I was at shanklin a month ago. I also do fossil hunting videos and I’m hoping to get mine out tomorrow. Great fossils! Super unstable cliffs though.
