You should try an agave bristle brush or boar bristle brush.
The tangle teezer brush doesn’t work well for super knotty hair because it rips it out

I have that brush, I have that same color 🤗 even though that doesn't matter 😂, but I feel it works better on dry hair than wet hair. On wet hair I don't see the big deal 🤷🏽♀️ My bf used it and he loved it. But I only saw me and one other person don't think highly of it but the fact that I like it on dry hair is a big deal because we always get told not to manipulate hair when dry.

I want to try this brush but how smooth are the tips? Remember how the author of the Black Woman’s Hair Care Bible taught us how boar bristle brushes shred many African women’s hair strands, because the bristle tips aren’t smooth? Do the hard plastic bristle-tips of the Unbrush have any minuscule sharp edges? Do they scratch your skin? I tried the curl keeper brush, which is similar to this one but the tips were too scratchy and I took out my magnifier to find out why. How does this one compare?
