I grew up near Talbot st and the embankment was still there in the 70's, it was a goid 1.5 times as high as the houses on the left of the street ( or maybe I thought that as i was tiny, lol) the old siding shed from the station was still there next to the Tech until quite recently, it was where the bin lorries used to be kept when I was a kid. I've visited Ards shopping centre many times and have wondered about the wall, it just seems out of place. I never knew there was once a railway station there.
