For me, it's the little gestures and motions the characters do in an out of talking. Makes it feel really immersive. Seiko chasing Turbo Granny while Momo and Okarun were having their conversation, Momo and Okarun's dumb little faces and expressions. They feel like they have real impulses in their behavior instead of just reading off of a script like in most anime.
Just some cultural context on Grandma Seiko's (Momo's grandma) antics. During the "ritual" she's been quoting famous lines from a popular school drama series in Japan called "Kinpachi Sensei" (aired 8 seasons and 12 specials between 1979 and 2011). The drama showcases real life issues that come up during adolescence including bullying, drugs, family issues, etc. and Kinpachi does whatever he can to protect his students, even beating them, at times, albeit with love (the series started in the 70's during a time when beating children as punishment was socially accepted). Seiko's first swing saying "You dumb-dumb" is a line Kinpachi says to his students but the actual word that was used is a dialect from the actor's hometown of Fukuoka (they made the character's hometown match the actor's). Then Seiko proceeds to call the Cat Turbo Granny a "rotten tangerine" which is what other teachers called one of Kinpachi's students in an iconic episode analogizing that a single rotten tangerine can ruin the entire box of tangerines. By the way, the paper fan that she uses is a common prop used in Japanese slapstick comedy because it makes a large noise without it being excessively painful. And it was used a LOT by, none other than, "Baka-tono" which was the TV show Seiko was watching in Ep. 3.
That thumbnail is cruelty lol. I didn't expect Dandadan to drop so when I saw it I thought I got hit with a big spoiler. Seeing the recommended videos, literally everyone is using that frame so it was going to be someone
We got instant replays now😂. After BokuYaba ended, I have been waiting for an anime to fill the romance anime void I have been feeling. I really enjoyed the first episode that I read the manga and caught up with it. Their chemistry and relationship is scratching that romance itch for me. BokuYaba is way better in the romance aspect, but Dandadan got action, too, so I am really enjoying this series. BokuYaba and Dandadan are definitely my favorite new-gen anime/manga. Naruto was the last anime/series that I was really into, I still am, but it isn’t ongoing anymore; BokuYaba became the next series I really got into and I think Dandadan is going to be another one.

Damn, Turbo Granny really... dropped the balls on this one.
Ba dum… Tssh
Hey Frieza. It looks like you *dropped the ball*.
Spoiling in the comments? Are you....nuts!?
Talk about low hanging fruit
13:25 that might be the quickest pause since my dress up darling ep 2
"Stop calling it a shaft. It's a pencil at most." Damn, granny. Do you really gotta burn him like that after the poor guy's already lost his manhood?
Not the frame by frame Prez 😭😭🤣🤣

Sounds a bit like Great Teacher Onizuka
The moment I saw this 13:25 I knew some people are gonna pause here and appreciate it like I do lol
Momo one of the best protaganists in manga/anime.
Also its fun seeing momo's friends are suportive
The character is great and her voice actress is fucking phenomenal.

Curse Turbo Granny: fast, scary, and powerful 😱💀
Turbo Granny in Cat Doll: funny and cute 😂🥰
To be fair, she was funny before
I think this is my favorite episode of dandadan. The aliens and ghosts are fun, but this is what makes me love the series
The chapters of “incidental” character interactions between the action arcs are the best. ☺️
This anime is very random, but random is what makes it extraordinary and addictive when watching it😂❤
First :) your reactions are great! I hope you enjoy the show, it gets better and better!
Also your sweater is dope and matches momos colors perfectly!
Brotherhood is proud of you 😂
So glad I didn't have to wait long for your reaction. I'm loving this anime, the dub is also really good and worth watchin after sub!
love how they do things like in the Movie Constantine xD
the best granny view 13:24
and even turbo granny is surprised 15:24
i Love the fact that Momo's friends see right through their whole denying they like each other phase and just accept their gonna get together soon 🤣
I need to see Cara obsessed with a character as much as Prez does granny

Momo didn't just drop the washtub...she literally threw it down on her. Made me laugh.
The end of the reaction 😂😂😂😂😂😂 17:00
His golden balls (kintama) are gone 😂
Oooooooooh the ending makes sense
Cara wore the perfect costume for this episode😅
Turbo granny VA of luffy 😂😂
Dandadan is somehow the genre of every other anime you've seen, but better

Dandadan and The Dangers in my Heart have the same music composer Kensuke Ushio.
I had to respectfully rewatch that paper fan slapping technique. Respectfully.

Reminds me of the ghost stories dub. With the main evil demon from ep1 being put into a cat.
