northern Winter she was abandoned, injured, at a bus stop where
she was rescued and sent to an orphanage. At the age of 5 she
was still traumatized and unable to speak properly. A massage
therapist who visited the orphanage trying to help kids, was the
first to recognize something special in this little girl, and
eventually adopted her. Diana was sent for singing lessons
because it was thought that this might help her learn to speak
without impediment. Only two years later she started singing in

Could you please react too to The Crow ("Ворона") - Диана Анкудинова in "Rock hit" category. Many people think this is Diana's one of the best performance to date. She managed in 3 minutes to make a demonstration (without being ostentatious) of all her vocal possibilities and skills.
About this show:
Diana was currently participating in a very ambitious NTV show "ShowMaskGoon" ("Шоумаскгоон") shot in Mosfilms studios with Virtual Reality sets. The sound was recorded live.
Why "ShowMaskGoon"?: The NTV channel produces 3 other singing competition shows (You are Super ", The Mask" and "SuperStar") the winners of these three shows participate in "ShowMaskGoon which is a kind of superfinal which premiered this year (" Mask "because of the second one)
The principle was as follows: there was 9 permanent participants who are both judges and competitors. Everyone had to perform in 9 predefined styles or categories, changing each time in each of the 9 parts of the show. It was very interesting because the candidates had to get out of their usual repertoire. To the 9 judges / candidates is added a different guest each week who also votes, because the artist who is on stage does not vote. They all have points from 2 to 9 to be distributed according to their assessment of the performance.
The 9 categories were:
"Song from a movie or cartoon"
"Rock hit"
"New music"
"Song of the late twentieth century"
"People are moved" (moving song)
"Soviet song"
"Pop hit"
"Grammy"
"Song of your choice"

The essence of the song "Crow":
It is obvious that the world is on the wrong track. Therefore, the rivers no longer flow, and the only sounds are the "singing" of volcanoes. The world is at the very edge. There are 9 contestants, all established singers, they must judge and rate each other. Diana was the youngest contestant but won the show.

The competition of others competions winners - Mask -You are Super - Super Star. 9 singers are participants and judges for themselves in one time. CROW is russian song from 90th about human feeling himself like crow between people. But white dress turned out the meaning into "white crow" - our idioms "one is not like others". It is difficult to be so special. 👍👍👍
