For example, I think it's okay for the vocal line to be Top 6, but my goal is always to make sure that the other 6 members still end up with a "satisfying" part that would be getting them some attention if they actually covered these songs for real. So that way, hopefully every Orbit can get a satisfying moment for their bias, with the end result still feeling like it is something the girls would come up with themselves.♥

I cant help but notice that the ai doesn't completely mess up when harmonies are present (even when voices are layered like when they're belting over the last chorus) and that's an issue I've been struggling with on RVC. thx in advance!
Yes, I am using RVC! The trick is unfortunately to filter out and isolate all the backing vocals, harmonies and ad-libs separately. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't - which is why I can't simply do all and any of the songs suggested to me : sometimes I just can't figure out how to isolate some of the overlapping vocals... :/ It's a lot of trial and error... What's frustrating is when I *do* manage to somehow isolate the ad-libs and what not, but the AI refuses to cooperate and they sill come out as buggy/scratchy...

@@service5591 The website I use for making acapellas (and thus isolating vocals and what not) is " x-minus . pro ", I am subscribed to one of their premium tiers to have more options available to me (it's still cheap, but it's worth mentioning that, yknow, it's not free). Like I said, it's a lot of trial and errors. You get an acapella, then you make an acapella of the acapella (lol), there are options regarding backing vocals too, you can try switching the acapella models (UVR vs MDX) then you can also experiment with the option regarding where the voice is placed (center, 50% stereo, 80% stereo), etc, etc, etc. I have no "real technique", I really just be throwing everything at the kitchen sink, and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't... :/ And like I said there is nothing more frustrating than when you do in fact manage to filter out the ad-lib or whatever, but it is a little bit in "bad quality", and then you pass it through the AI machine and it comes out as 25x more awful and barely sounding like the singer...And then you wonder what was the whole point of that... But I keep persevering each time lol. That's why it takes me quite a few days in between uploads, the truth is there is a lot of work to get done... However, ultimately, I think it boils down to good/well trained AI models, as well as good original material/source. I've seen somebody say that this cover was better than my last one ('Attitude' I suppose?) but they're the same models... However, in my opinion, the original vocals from the original OMG song are much much clearer and crispier to begin with than they are on 'Attitude', and that impacts the final results. How close the vocals from the cover group vs the original group are will also matter, in my opinion. I think OMG is a great fit for LOONA for the most part, for example.

My worries at the moment are that, from what I know, the AI doesn't take well when it comes to transforming male vocals to female vocals (I think the other way around is easier, actually). I could try pitching up the song myself with a software, but I'm afraid it would impact the vocals severely, and make them sound like little chipmunks... The solution I can think of is using a female-sung fan cover on RUclips, so that the vocals are naturally in a female key. Tempo is a fairly popular song, so I'm sure I could find a cover. However, my second worry, is the amount of harmonies, adlibs and (in general) overlapping vocals within the song. There are *a lot* in 'Tempo'. I would need to isolate most of them, which I don't even know if it would be possible (it really depends on the song... some ad-libs are just so deeply mixed into the song, they feel impossible to isolate). I'm not saying it's impossible without trying (and I do kinda wanna try), but I can't promise anything.

Of course. :) The voice synthesis program is called 'RVC'. However, it's a little bit more complicated than that. You have to "train" the AI and make it learn how to reproduce the singers' voice, which can take a lot of time and ressources. Not every singer has a trained AI model, let alone a good one. OnlyOneOf's sage is not B#RN. This fan theory only caught on because the song's instrumental was originally written with LOONA in mind - but the songwriter clarified that when she wrote the melody the company decided that the song was better suited for a boy group and so it was assigned to OnlyOneOf instead.
