Yes... I studied at Madarsa Azeemia Islamia Junior High School, Ghazipur City, UP from 1st to 8th grade. There were many Hindu students in my class and my best friend was Dukhanti Kumar. We used to compete for the First position. After which I did my High School from Govt. City Inter College, Ghazipur and then went to AMU (Aligarh Muslim University), Aligarh for higher studies. I came to USA in 1987 after finishing my Ph.D. in Biochemistry from CDRI (Central Drug Research Institue), Lucknow. Now I am a Research Professor at the University of Iowa, IA, USA. I am very proud of my school "Madarsa Azeemia Islamia" and its teachers for making me what I am today....
