To prevent the NPCs leaving the door open when they get out of the taxi (which is very uncomfortable), you can make them get on the front passenger so they will always close it.
There is a open source functions that you can change ( so basically can do whatever you want ). For any problems or additional ideas can write to me on discord.

could add a multiplayer functionality to where npc make ride requests and real players as well
