I have 2 of these, but a guy is telling me they are ddr fs 102s, how do I tell if he's right. They both have rotated hud doubling in the rear and face with a bit of offset as the rims are impressed a bit over average and it is clearly evident they are from the same press. Both are mint state from mintsets.

@@PCGScoin thank you for the reply! Im excited! 1961 I purchased 7 proof sets, 2 sliders over the year. Got a Cam/ possibly Dcam? Very frosty w/mirror. & the doubled Die.
While I have you here I have a quick question.
The chance I put the wrong variety; will PCGS correct the mistake? Or leave with a label it? I believe it to be the FS-801 DDR.
      Thanks.

you are grading mine right now, or perhaps it's completed and I haven't heard yet. It has a pointed sharp OBV die chip just below the L in Liberty. Could it be a variety (FS-801 Die #3) and/with a die chip error? Thanks

More of this content and semi rare mint errors please. Less one off pieces and more varieties with less than 20,000 pieces known. Stuff we are likely to find on our own and can afford Because it's less than $400. That seems to be the true line of "affordable" and not. Around $100 is more common of a limit for many less than wealthy collectors. Life doesn't allow for long savings , things happen that will Require the savings . So that's who gets the common dates , the $10 slabbed coins, the coins that are only loved by people who appreciate that they can have collectable coins at all and enjoy them for their beautiful engravings and their history . exquisite modern proofs are a great way to have a super beautiful collection for cheap. Lol right now I am looking at an album page that's a big deal to me at a value of maybe $1200 for all 9 coins, 1942D DDO 1-0-I 25¢ au ,1953 d/s omm f/s 601 25¢ au.1934D peace dollar DDO 1-o_III au, 1886 5¢ split planchet after strike ag3 details. 1950d ms65fb dime, 2011s pf69dcam silver dime, 2018s pe69 reverse proof silver dime and silver Cumberland bay quarter , 1961 5¢ pf66 cameo . but for others, they have single coins worth many orders of magnitude more. That 1961 proof DDO with deep Cameo is probably worth morw than this entire page. So more accessible coins featured would be really cool for a lot of us shallow pocketed collectors.

I couldn't touch on that subject more brilliantly, you are a Divine well-spoken bloke, and I appreciate your enthusiasm in expressing your enthusiasm and opinion, it is opinion of us lower class folk who love the hobby but don't have the means to afford the more how do you say unaffordable coins.
