Hi Graeme. On this occasion we had so much to cope with - 60ft and fast tide - that we let out all the warp so having it onboard was surplus. With spurdog hoped for clear decks were the order of the day anyway. Come slack water we brought the reels inboard and wound in enough to let it out to ease the turn before pulling up as we stayed into the ebb tide which pisses through.

It comes with practice, you'll get there. The tackle bits I usually forget :) especially as it's usually the same rigs. Glad you enjoy the vids!
