Grizedale Forest Red Route - Over The Hill Mountain Biking

I last rode in and around Grizedale Forest in the 1990s. Much has changed since then. For a start, there wasn't a trail centre, so I was keen to give the red trail, or North Face Trail to give it its proper name, a go. If you like techy trails, this is for you. Just a shame about the amount of forestry road.

Nice vid thanks for posting, where most people edit out the little mistakes or crashes you leave them in which makes a refreshing change as not all of us are pro riders. I’m visiting this trial centre and whinlatter next weekend and this has given me a good insight, looks like a bit of a tyre shredder 😢

Yeah we all make mistakes, I keep some in haha. Yeah at Grizedale you need your tyres pumped up. Enjoy it

Some nice technical rock sections to negotiate your way across, well ridden over the skinny boardwalks not always as easy as they may look, thanks for sharing Tony! 😁🤙

Thanks Gary, yes it's quite a techy trail, but with a lot of forest roads linking the sections. It has the least amount of climbing of any trail centre I've ridden
