being yourself is so important, it was hard for me in 7th grade - i was super shy an only really talked to my couple of friends but in 8th - 9th grade i learned that being yourself is a key factor to gaining friends you actually like. by the middle of 8th grade i had so many friends - too many to count but they were all so sweet an very caring.

I did the same exact thing in middle school, I was trying to fit in but instead of being part of it, they treated me like I was invisible or uninteresting. About 8th was when I said "F*ck it, I'm not even gonna try anymore."
But I proceed to try as well as endure with a toxic friend cuz I was scared of being alone. Until freshmen year of highschool.
Now the highschool that I go to is an Art school and the atmosphere there is completely different. And when I mean different I mean like....no one gives a crap about popularity and are nice and genuine people. And I am a completely changed person :3

Adam, I am a very sensitive person who cares a whole crapload of what people think. I'm awkward around people, mostly new people so to avoid being awkward around new people, just don't come up to them. For me to be myself is basically to invite a cat into your house and not even like cats. I am a short person with a very sensitive soul so me being myself isn't exactly good. Even though I am very scared of saying ho to my friends sometimes, I will yell at a total stranger who hurt my friend or someone who talks bad about good people. No joke. So, what I'm saying is me being myself makes me feel weird, awkward and like I make things extremely awkward.
