- I was adopted when I was 6 weeks old and had only previously talked to my birth mother on the Internet before we met this past weekend... during COVID-19! It was an absolute blessing in the midst of a very difficult time and I'm so glad we jumped at the chance to do it! If you are a fellow adopted individual, birth parent or adopted parent wondering anything about the process, I'd gladly answer your questions below :)

What an odd political take to comment on a beautiful video about family reuniting! I referenced COVID in the title simply because those were the weird times we were living in, I didn't imply anything about specific restrictions our state had at that time, but thanks for the comment I guess?

Hey!!!!!! We have very similar stories! I’ve been talking to my birth mother for & years now!! And I’m flying to meet her tomorrow!! Cuz flights were cheap during covid! I’m staying with her for 5 days! Omg. I’m freaking out!!
