Love my Tribe Trailer. Picked up mine about 3 months ago. Tows great, tons of storage and great tent. Can’t wait to take it across the country this summer!

Towed this trailer throughout Big Bend National park to include Black Gap Jeep badge of honor trail. Trailer did great. My vent fan for fridge slide went out. The hand pump leaves a lot to be desired. The stove insert sits deep so cleaning is a pain. Also with it sitting deep you can only use small pots and pans. Overall other than those issues the trailer has held up and performed very well.

Hey Tribe! I've taken an in depth look at this trailer, several of them (4 on the same lot), as the price and availability peaked my curiosity. I'm in the market for an "Overland" type trailer and I've been measuring up the various makes and models before dropping my hard earned monies on one. First and foremost, the Tribe Trailer has many bang for the buck features, but there's several things that could/should be addressed to ensure long term use and a positive customer experience. I'm going to nit-pick, just things that IMHO could be corrected with minimal cost/effort, to ensure customer satisfaction for the long haul. To be clear, I've not towed one, nor camped in one and won't touch on issues reported/mentioned by others. The below are my own observations, with hopes that your company would appreciate the constructive criticisms.
    1. The water lines... they are overly exposed and improperly routed to prevent potential damage. A simple 90 degree elbow in both locations (from the tank) and proper vertical routing, would eliminate the chances of snagging and subsequent damage. Cheap insurance.
    2. Water tank drain... a simple brass petcock valve would make draining and weatherizing easier and less of a hassle. I'd also recommend mentioning tank draining/flushing within the "storage" directions in the manual.
    3. The latches... are hit and miss, as far a securing is concerned. Several of the 90 degree welded tabs were out of alignment, making some latch mechanisms more difficult to secure, causing the seal to not mate evenly against the body, putting additional stress on the hinges and locks.
    4. The seals... are generic blunt edge stripping and are bent around sharp corners in all doors, causing a significant wrinkle/gap, that could/would allow water and dust penetration into the trailer body, especially in the electrical compartment; not good. Furthermore, over time, the seals in those pinched areas will wear, tear and fail. A proper moldable style/conforming rubber seal would solve this.
    5. The top drawer... the spring pins are simplistic and decent, however, there's no means to lock the drawer (padlock or such).
    6. The hand brake... the cable is improperly crimped near the adjuster, compromising the coatings integrity, leading to potential failure (rust/breakage) in the future. A double barrel compression sleeve should be used.
Last but not least, maybe make the trailer available with out a tent/awning option, as many would like to add their own MFG of choice.

What size fridge (or cooler) will the rear slide accommodate? What are the dimensions of the slider and what are the dimensions of the opening itself? I can't find that information anywhere online or in the trailer manual. Thanks!

I use a Joolca hot tap hooked up to our 17 gallon tank for a nice hot shower!

A DC inverter and an AC inverter? You mean an inverter (DC to AC) and a CONVERTER to charge batt from shore power? This guys points to all 3 components and calls them inverters? Next to the batt looks like an inverter and instead of saying how many watts he just says "bigger inverters"..... how many watts guys? And whats the bottom right components with the water level indicator he's calling an inverter? This trailer is a pricey purchase to have it shown off by a company rep who doesn't know what their talking about....
