It's unbelievable how talented Zoe Perry is, how she captures and performs all the mannerisms of Mary Cooper. Just like how her mother Laurie Metcalf played the character in "The Big Bang Theory". Bottom line when two actors plays a single character that projects, talks, and act like someone you just wanna beat to god damn death, they are unbelievably talented.

Sheldon became a self centered little twit on his own. Mary's greatest responsibility there is that she treated her son with kid gloves.
It's interesting that Sheldon is working hard to process all this stuff in his head. The connextion between his beloved meemaw and his pesky sister is hardest judging by the look ons his face.
The only thing I don't like about Young Sheldon, is that it's a prequel. You know some of the details before things happen. However, they have done a very good job at keeping that to a minimum, and have given the characters as much room as possible to grow.
