Frankie Vaughan's association with The Good Old Days goes back to Producer Barney Colehan spotting him in Variety in Leeds and he being invited to appear at The City Varieties in the days of Harry Joseph who owned the theatre. He appeared many times on the show and topped the bill in the last edition of The Good Old Days, in 1983. He was twice King Rat of the celebrated Water Rats Charitable Organisation. Hugely respected figure in the Showbiz world and further afield for his charitable work . Famous for his very polished and highly professional style.
