For lower levels, float fish in C6 and C8 with tiny hooks (22-19) and maggot. There are some little fish worth good silver when they are 'marker' fish like Bleak and Dace. Good experience and good silver with no risk of breaking equipment.
this is the best map. i never cought so many fish on any map than in here. chub, pike, bream, perch, you name it. granted not record fish, but MANY. i made a lot of money here, and got from level 5 to level 20 in a couple of days of casual fishing. float fishing sucks here, but bottom fishing is super lucrative. and spin fishing too on specific zones.
I found for myself IRL that gear fishing on lakes does get boring especially if you are spoiled rotten with a great fishing spot. I grew up in Yellowknife NWT in Canada and there the fishing is second to no where else in the world due to the isolation. I stopped fishing over it, but fly fishing has completely rekindled my love for fishing because it's on rivers, it's way more active, its more sensitive, reactive etc. This game is great for fishing when quarantine has you locked in your house :p
This game pretty much simulates real life fishing. I’ve been fishing in real life and there are always days that you won’t catch anything - pretty much the same in this game unless you know certain “spots”. I believe changing bait/lures, speed of your retrievel, etc. even in the game, might improve your chances of catching. By the way, thanks for this video! I’m new to the game and pretty much frustrated lol
I had much more success at Winding than Mosquito. Maybe it's because I mainly go spinning. Right from the start I caught some big perch and pike, which my gear couldn't handle, so I had to run down the river after the fish as the line was at it's end. I think that was what made me concentrate on spinning, it was great fun. Now I'm so leveled up on spinning, I want to mainly focus on it until I finish leveling up.
Perhaps you should've mentioned the Farmers Market as it's unique to this map as was the food cart on mosquito ;-) For those that don't know where it is just go to the food market and turn around 180°. Place for potatoes, eggs, ... The little side pond is regularly a Crucian and Gibel heaven on bread bait near the lilies and the reed at the left bottom corner of E4
Tip number 1 BUY A LEAD! i lost a crap tone of lures and crap to Pike. Also if you are fishing at the last spot mentioned in the vic you can set a floater for abt 1.4 m and toss if just to the left of the grasses on the bank, the current pulls it right but it doesnt drift into the shore so it can stay out, been getting muscles, Perch, Common Roach, bleak Chinese Sleeper, carps, Gudgeon all from a float while I spin fish, ive tried all the baits and everything seems to work here so personal preference I gues. To Spinfish I stand in the grasses and cast to the trees like in the vid im still using the base spin fishing stuff except i added a 8kg lead cuz of the piek, and ive had most success on the Syberian Dragonfly Original 1-002 had my reel in speed between 12 and 15 and been getting everything I listed above plus pike and come good sized Chub.
Thank you for all your tips but what whats yours advice if you get stuck but not snagged in the deep section by the camp at winding rivulet with the beginner spinner rod and 3kg line? thought i had a fish at first as it ran and spent about 45mins without being able to reel in trying different tensions on the line trying to be safe under 25 but would not move, in the end just went higher and ended up first breaking the reel then the rod, what should i do if it happens again please.
0:40 Really? I'm 100-ish hours in and have several later maps unlocked, but winding rivulet is still by far my favourite... probably in part because i lean towards spinning a lot and because it's the closest to my irl experience in terms of species and general environment, but still, i also have good success with float and decent success with feeder fishing as well
Also the map looks a bit different nowadays, but here are some good float spots (bolognese rod preferred, but not always required): C8 - dace, gudgeon D5 - standing on the far side of the river trotting around the end of the small island - gibel, dace F5-ish - perch, silver bream, chub, rarely nase G4 - (bolognese rod required) casting towards the tip of the peninsula and trotting along it's edge and further into the open water - dace, bleak, rarely ide I3-I5 - standing basically on the border between the camp and the next area to the right, casting a bit to the left and trotting just 4-6 meters from the shore - silver bream, roach, rarely nase, rarely and mostly small chub Middle/bottom of G7 - casting and trotting in a similar way to the previous one - roach, dace, gudgeon Dace is probably your best source of xp and silver early on, but finding an active spot can be tricky
I don't know why I like these videos, but loving watching them!
Not a fisherman, and don't even intend on playing the game, but keep them coming!

same here xD could also be that I river fish IRL so I staid put at the far end of the river as that would be where id fish in real life lol

thats what the comments are for :)

Great video!! Thank you so much!
what kind of rig do you go for when your aiming for catfish?
I am using the Fedder fishing. Start kit (not bad)
A "Fiskars" commercial before this video, now that is epic stuff!

Just realised my dog isn't scratching the door to go out....its Loki walking round the river!
lol you're going mad mate

can you make a video about how to solve snags please, i cant do mines, always end up cutting the lane after like 30 tries.
I just port over to mosquito then back. it's a bit faster than restarting.
I've been trying to catch some Zander here and can't find a good area I've only caught one in total and I've been here forever
best spot is north top of the map deep hole
in front of camp, for zander, bream, chub, etc
oh, you can catch zander with spinning.

F5-ish - perch, silver bream, chub, rarely nase
G4 - (bolognese rod required) casting towards the tip of the peninsula and trotting along it's edge and further into the open water - dace, bleak, rarely ide
I3-I5 - standing basically on the border between the camp and the next area to the right, casting a bit to the left and trotting just 4-6 meters from the shore - silver bream, roach, rarely nase, rarely and mostly small chub
Middle/bottom of G7 - casting and trotting in a similar way to the previous one - roach, dace, gudgeon
Dace is probably your best source of xp and silver early on, but finding an active spot can be tricky
nice vídeo!likehue;)
What is your ideal retrieval speed when spinner fishing? Thanks!
between 10-20
Float fishing isnt tricky. The floatfishing in this game is what that are the most realistic compared to My own river in My city...
Press alt F4 and you need only restart the game and you are good to go again
worst zone so far.
can't believe player pays for "privilege" to fish here.
They don’t and it’s definitely not a bad spot
@@neurotic3015 it's a comment from 2 years ago.......
Can I play this on MacBook?
i dont think so
Loki Doki 😢
Don't go Fishing to that camp where is deep catfish will destroy your rod
yeeboiz
Focus on chubs here
Instead of saying fishing business I think fishing vernacular would have been a better expression but thats just the opinion of a non fishing twat :p
Just a tip guys: do not look for a massive amount of Nase here, ok? (Loki Ultras knows)
gaaaayyyy
