Hello from November 2024, your floow videos have been very helpful for me, I recently built the deck and have been taking it to locals. I feel like the deck still does very good to this day. A question I had was how much does the potential banning or limiting of Dimensional Shifter affect this deck in your opinion?
Hey from NYCDC :p The Simorgh engine I actually use, and one point you didn’t mention was the really cool double empen search combo that it enables. It’s a 2-3 card combo so doesn’t come up SUPER often but still feels amazing pulling it off. It’s also really easy to side out when going second for more board breakers. Great vid and grats on 1k :)
Heyo! Do you mean the Simorgh engine? If so, there are other lines with it for sure, I just wanted to show it's basic utility in being an Ash block and making Eglen a one card start, but you can def do other stuff with a more built out hand + Map or Advent. And thank you! Here's to 2k haha
@@keasbeytcg yeah Simorgh (sorry mobile auto correct). Another point I love from the combo is actually in some funny grind states I've had that extra 300 attack boost and the 1800 body of Perfection come in to be really useful. Runick for example has a couple fusions with exactly 2k def that are easy to bring down (1800 + 300 from the field spell for 2100). There's a couple other examples of decks that sit on a 2k body for protection but it does come up quite a bit surprisingly. I also run the double dreaming town and I find the simorgh package makes that combo more consistent too (extra extender for the second empen). And running a second dreaming town is nice when going first because it actually improves the odds of hard drawing it, which lets me spend the Empen search on the field spell or a second copy if I choose too, which is awesome. Going second I'll usually swap the 3 simorgh + 2nd trap for 4 other more useful cards, but going first I just love the package.
Great video, and very insightful! I actually just got my invite with Floowandereeze this past weekend, and wanted to say thank you :) your content definitely helped me learn the deck much faster. I'll be uploading a tournament report and deck profile this week. Keep up the awesome videos!!
Not consistently. Floo doesn't inherantly OTK a lot. You do have OTK lines (any 3 big birds getting in direct is 8k+), but they aren't generally the go-tos
Any room in the deck or side for slifer the sky dragon? xD or any of the other god cards. I think its funny how easily this deck can bring em out. Ive been having hilarious success with slifer's effect to kill monsters with 2k or less attack.
Depends on the matchups, but generally since we see an extra card, i'll drop a duality, sarc, and terraforming for evenlys, against spright i take out shifter (just kinda meh in that matchup). If there was no targetted negates, sometimes e con comes out
I've actually just started seeing that again haha, but the short version, like having Apex access as something to go into if I have to shotgun Dreaming Town, and I like 2 raiza but i play one for deck space
@@keasbeytcg Do you always bounce Raiza to hand with its own effect? The main advantage for two raiza is that you keep the body and bounce 1 more (so it's better as an interuption and not getting otk-ed and as breaking board) Then, by having the second one, you can have "infinite" ressource
@@Dreadlash generally since i only play one, yeah, unless... 1. I can read that I have a lock on the game 2. Im in a desperate situation. But yeah, raiza at 2, i dont think is bad, its really just a space thing
I'm curious on the rulings on super poli. Can they use super poli in order to get rid of the barrier statue if it isn't the statues attribute or does it have to be the same?
I just have a question regarding Wiraqocha Rasca since I wasnt succesful finding an answer online, so I'm asking here: If I normal summon rasca and target my 2 Floowandereeze (Eglen, Robin, Stri or Toocan) to handloop my opponent, why am I not able to shuffle my targeted cards back into the deck since they're not technically leaving the field. If this question has already been answered in an older video, could you send me the link to it?
So, unless I'm missing something, Rasca is targeting cards you control to shuffle back into the deck, which is still considered leaving the field, so if you're targeting face up little birds, they'll just be banished due to their effects
I know we didn't really get a chance to see it in the last live stream but have you had a chance since to test put Ultimate slayer? I really like an want to use the card but am having a hard time to justify it even though locals is filled with Tear and Sprite still.
It's REALLY good in the Tear Matchup, especially with Mereological Argragator (i think thats that name) dropping in DABL, I'm actually back on it now, plus I tend to side out shifter V spright. It's pretty solid vs Tear too as a backup if you miss the shifter for clearing a double dragastapalia board
@@keasbeytcg Okay that's that the card was. I have no clue why I thought it was Wollow, Founder of the Drudge Dragons for some reason. I haven't had a chance to look back at your stream from Friday but I couldn't remember what the XYS monster you had in Extra was.
Can you bounce back harpies feather storm with raiza to top of deck I heard someone say that or smth for the most recent ycs idk if you can do that was curious that would be really busted.

I'd do one Scary Sea if you wanna run that, just never been overly fond of it personally, moreso in a best of one format. I also don't think it's worth running any of the other statues, given they can't be searched, nor summoned off Drwaming Town or our small birds. I'd probably start leaning hard on a blind 2nd build
@@keasbeytcg what's a blind second build? And what would you suggest as a replacement for that green bird? Though, I have win con too going 2nd if I hard draw sales ban + eveil to summon rhongo with permanent 4 mats throughout the duel, dark ruler nm, and d.shifter. But setting up a board going first without the wind statue doesn't feel right :(
@@dandysania83 There isnt really a solid replacement for Statue, unfortunately. A blind 2nd list would be on 3 DRNM, 3 Evenly, 2 or 3 Lightning Storm. The recent YCS 2nd place looks very 2nd leaning if you check that out
Really good analysis on all the options the birds have to offer! Only thing I'd add is a mention of Simorgh Repulsion in the BoP engine, mostly due to how much running back row removal is getting pushed this meta.
I have mixed feelings about Cherries. Overall I think it's good, snipe a Gigantic Spright, or a Dragostapalia, but I also think the top decks can kind of pivot around losing one piece of their combo, depending on their opens.
@@CANWEGETMUCHHIGHERRRR I went back to Ultimate Slayer and have really been enjoying in it the Spright Matchup with Metero-something Aggregator (I might have the name wrong)
Regarding extravagance vs prosperity. The point is also that extravagance should be your first thing of mp1 is actually stupid. Imagine situations when going second with a bad hand that has drnm and extravgance... If you need to negate their on field interruption then a prosperity after drnm is perfect while in the other situation you will make it all opponent dependent.
I would play Dernier Match's build, but I don't have the money for advent and prosperity, which is the reason for me playing the Simorgh Engine. What lese would you recommend on a budged?
Extrav is a solid budget option for Prospey, I'm not familiar w the rest of the build, but it is a bit rough without Advent. Book of Moon does fill in for the targeted negation protection though as a fill in for Advent
I saw a Floo deck in Diamond on Master Duel playing triple “Numbers Eveil” in order to bring out a Rhongo with four materials. I wish both Rhongo and Numeron didn’t exist so I’m not willing to build it myself, but it seemed pretty crazy. If I wasn’t playing a deck I was extremely familiar with I feel like I would have scooped the second I saw Rhongo and realized I couldn’t summon monsters but I ended up winning. I’m sure it doesn’t go that way for most people though. Any opinions on it?
I'm not super familiar with Master Duel so I can't really speak to much to that, but if there's a valid way for this deck to turbo out Rhongo w 4+ materials, well, it's banned in the TCG for a reason haha
Helloo!! Greetings from Brazil! I really like your videos and opinions about the deck. I would like to know how you do the "Side in and Side out" using Floowandereeze. This is my biggest difficulty with the deck.

Jack in the hand is very good. if opponent take stri/ toccan, betting the fact that you running 1ea, you can open up with robina or eglen. This usually means without negate you can get empen and wind statue. If they smart and take robina, you will have eglen. 3map, 6 pot, slayer, 3 advent, terraforming or any bird in hand will allow you to play this. Also if you really need to open with robina you just give them d.d crow, conflicts with dreaming town but at least you can get a board. I wouldn’t play Jack in the hand, if you have prosperity since it does get too consistent without utility, I found extrav is good or simorgh package. However I also find it hard to slot in 2 Jack and 4 simorgh. Going up to 42 cards. Simorgh ash negate dodge is kinda important in my local, pretty much everyone runs ash :/
If you're getting hit w Ash a lot, def give it a go and see if it helps! I don't think it's bad, I just personally prefer filling the space with other stuff. Jack in the Hand I've just never been a fan of for Floo. Especially too, your opp gets a bit of an idea what to play around, based on what you pick, and yeah, like you said, 6 Pots, 3 Map, Terraforming, you don't exactly need it
I think the BoP engine is good depending on what hand traps are popular. If Ash/Gamma become more popular than Veiler/Imperm I think this engine might be worth it. However if they're not, then don't bother. The deck has plenty of ways to deal with Veiler/Imperm.
