"東南苦行山" Struggling in the Southeast (Taiwanese Song)

- This song was written in 1986 and is about the Guomindang move to Taiwan.
A note about the translation:
The name of the song can more accurately be translated as "Southeast Ascetic Mountain," but multiple other people have uploaded this song and used the name "Struggling in the Southeast," which is what I have done here.
Also, the term 潛修 (which I have translated as "bided time") has a much deeper meaning. It actually means "to hide away in reclusive privacy while improving oneself." The term "hid" would not work, as this term does not imply one is inaccessible or completely hidden from society, but rather living life more like a hermit.

It's from Taiwan but it's about the Chinese Nationalist' "determination" to return to the mainland
"Southeast Mountain" refers to Taiwan
1:12 better translated "The dragon's pearl with twelve golden rays" is referring to the ROC/KMT emblem's "white sun"
1:17 better translated "Shall return to the land of the five great mountains and three great rivers" referring to Mainland China

Hi Mister Zhonghua, I have been following you for a while and I have a question about your political viewpoint. Are you supporting CCP but more of a "right-winged" communist still advocating democracy?
My political position is somewhat turbulent, but I would say thats a good way of describing me. I support the CCP, but not the CCP we have today.
