    Nice car when they were built was all the jaguar parts that was used new or did they come from doner cars 🚗👍

      That was an option by steadman, all new or donor car ... price was accordingly

      I actually worked for Fords motor company in Halewood where they built the escort and went onto through jaguar Land Rover until I retired after 40 years service

    Beautiful car! I agree the dashboard gauges are placed in strange positions. It should have a wood dash too! What are the black squares on the rear of the car? They seem odd!

      It has a viscous clutch. Fan starts when engine is warm.

      The fan is electric and is temperature controlled.

      @@Darryl603 I guess i'm used to my little MGB that the fan is belt driven. :)

      That is normal, as it is an electrical one with a sensor

    Not too much info on the internet about this interesting and beautiful auto. I'm curious as to why left hand drive and not England's right hand drive?

      Indeed , its a very rare car, with only 28 ever build. The were building them to order. Some were for the US market , hence the LHD. This one was , one of the last and when the business went bankrupt. Steadman shipped those cars quickly out of the UK in a container. This one was stored in a container in the US for many years, in fact there is a second ( and I can get it) one. The two containers came back to europe 15 years ago. And that is how we got this one

    A very nice find Steve! The small road wheels look a bit out of proportion, and as you say, the steering wheel needs to revert to something more "period correct" but the paintwork looks really good for having been stored long term, I look forward to seeing it on the road! Chris B.
