Why is this a source of pride? Many of us migrate for economic reasons. We all can't own businesses or run them successfully. For some of us family commitments require a regular paycheck. The "demand for Indian workers" is a myth. The demand exists due to wages we are willing to accept and / or the conditions we are willing to work under.
@orangemanbad9723 that’s really surprising that they quote this nonsense with so much of pride. Ideally the country should be able to feed its people and take care of them. It’s a shame!
The people of USA are low-life humans. They are dumb and cannot work. They are lazy. They are drug addict and killers. They just like to protest 24/7. They are so dumb that “Smart Indian Americans” have to become CEOs of Top 10 tech companies , become cabinet members of Trump administrations and rule over them. 😂
The reality is totally different, if see it in an investor’s perspective. India is blessed with many types of working class and it starts with highly educated technologists to professionals in financial management to labours. In western countries including US, the high end workers like software engineers, doctors and even other professionals in health care workers are constituting 90% of the legal migrants. In GCC countries, its financial and HR professionals and labourers including delivery boys. People are usually trustworthy and these countries like this workforce in their economies and other sectors. When it comes to remittances, people are not having the choice of investing in the share market of those countries or in other investment tools. So they are having only one option to send the money to home.
Yea when the Rupee depreciates it becomes attractive to send money back home. Only to realize that after five years when they want to repatriate money, they will get less. It is becoming more and more difficult to repatriate money and operate in India.
Migrating Islamic countries sending remittance from there and these GutkhaBJP always yelling batenge to katenge when ayeeyasshi karte hai remittance money par, ekdam Ghatiya Approach
India is in bad shape. Those billions of dollars only going to India because it's hard for families to earn money and are dependent on their family members living outside. Remittance is a sign of hardship Indian family members face back in India.

Total remittances from Indians from all over the world not just from USA total 129 billion dollars.
The description should be Indian Migrants remit USD 129 billion home in 2024. Indians in the US remit about 24 percent of that
Not Indian migrants in US .. Indian migrants all-over the world
Why wouldn't temporary residents send money home?
Thats the primary source of income for india. Add EU and ME, and there you have it.
That is not primary source of income for India. Indian economy is in trillions not in millions. It is only a fraction of Indian GDP.
Where they invested? Seems to be wrong information?
