We rented for so many years, and we always improved it to make ourselves comfortable. At our own expense. We always left the home better than we found it. It is only now, in our senior years that we have been gifted a beautiful home by our son.
My son and I rented for from the time he was 7mths to 22yrs old - at which time he moved into his own house - we had to move every 2 - 3 yrs, due to rent increases , or house sale. The houses were always a filthy horror story wich friends and family would beg me not to take. I always maintained that it is always what you make of it. I would scrub the house and do repairs, clean up the garden and retic. Owners were always somewhat shocked and pleased, not enough to drop the rent though! They would then start raising the rent on me, and the rent for the new tenant would be half as much again. I never once had an owner come to me and thank me for what I and my son had done for them. I don’t mean I expected it, but they never acknowledged any of the hard work or cost that went into it. Everyone used to say that they wouldn’t bother as it’s not theirs, I always said that we have to live there so make it comfortable for us, which we did. I always felt proud to leave a house in better condition than others left it to me.
Good job realize not everyone has the ability or know how or some have physical limitations to do that much work, some people are doing there best if they can do 4 to 10 tasks a day,not everyone is the same
I think something was lost in translation, she would have had to bought a run down apartment because no one would ever spend the money she has, not to mention time and effort to line a landlords pocket. She could be a house flipper for all we know or just a project of her own to live in.
When my son bought his house, we took so many layers of wallpaper off the dining room walls, we accidentally took some of the paper off the drywall. We just textured the walls and they looked great.
Be careful I improved my rental so much my landlord took it back to raise the rent sky high. His family tore it up, I re did hardwood floors, painted, wall papered one wall in bedrooms, mirrored my front room wall and painted. New carpets etc.
3 Months Later: Landlord: Knock Knock! Tenant: Who's there? Landlord: The Landlord! Tenant: Please come in. Landlord: This is a surprise inspection. Ten minutes Later: Landlord: I must inform you, the rent has been increased to $2,000 per month effective immediately! 😆
I like the color blue better than the green. But if is rented place all the work and effort to make it look good is just for you or how many people will be moving in with you.
People are so lazy these days all they know is to complain about everything but too lazy to do something about it 😂😅 just because your paying rent doesn't mean you shouldn't keep y'all places clean
As a long time renter, then after brief home ownership and all the headaches that came with it, I decided renting is not so bad at retirement. And I live somewhere that they really don’t mind what I do. I live in a long narrow studio. One room. Twin bed at one end with a small sitting area. The other end has a very tiny small galley kitchen with a dorm sized fridge and a stove literally avocado green from the 1960’s. It still works at present though I think at some point the very stiff looking wires look sort of fragile. It will either need rewired or a new stove. I have a small restroom shower in a separate room. I am on the side of the landlords really dirty dusty garage and have to enter through the garage. So very easy to track in dirt, but I just sweep and mop daily and make sure a bit of apartment is dusted down each day do the entire thing is dusted and cleaned once a week. In the middle section of the studio is my huge quilting table sitting along one wall, with storage metal shelving beside it. On opposite wall is a sort of little art studio, also along the wall. I have one small window, mostly taken up by the air conditioning unit. I also have a small backyard. Where I have planted flowers and vegetables and a bit of seating. I will work on it slowly and make it my own.
I did that, for years I sacrificed so I can have a completely new flat. After years of hard work I proudly sat down and thought I made it.Until the owner who didn't recognise the place decided to
demolition the whole building and in a year or so I was homeless. 😢😢They didn't give me any choice. My landlords were lawyers so I couldn't fight. 😢New bathrooms new windows, balcony...... demolished 😢

I don’t think that place was ever cleaned before she got in there and did her magic on the place!
Wow! I’m so impressed with your hard work and sense of style. You made a remarkable home for you and your son!

Beautiful! The only that bothers me greatly is curtains behind the stove. Yikes!!!
Doesn't seem like a rental for the effort she put in. Like her heart and soul. Good job.
Very classy!❤
She worked so hard. Great job!good for you. You are to be congratulated!
It breaks my heart that you painted over that absolutely beautiful marble floor 😢

You should open a cleaning service for homes in need of real deep cleaning. You're young and in good health your mom too. Congrats!

What a motivational video! ❤

Why on earth would that matter? It's her place and she hated the blue and loved the light green so she made herself happy in HER new place.
Brilliantly done ✅✅✅
Floors are in exceptional condition for the rest of the apartment

I thought the floors were better if they were left alone. I agree it’s going to be a nightmare when that paint wears and starts to come off.

Why are there sausages hanging in the window while they're cleaning? Skip ahead to around 49 min. I can't stop laughing!
If the door on the fridge doesn’t stay open, it’s not level so it may not work as it should.
De Argentina 🇦🇷🎉 🍀
I cannot imagine that much money and work for a rental.
Wao se io ero il proprietario x anni non avrei chiesto l'affitto 🙌🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️🙌🙌🙏💯💯💯🇮🇹🇮🇹💋💋💋👍
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Don't expect everyone to be pushed to the limit when u don't know everyone has limits according to how much they have gone thru
Is the $200 for the whole year or monthly rate ? It should be a yearly rate given that the landlord will be benefitting permanently.
Bravissima!!👍

I would love to know where she got the chandelier with the puff flower globes.
Cleaning the kitchen, washing the clothes and hanging a shower curtain exhaust someone who may have low iron anemia
Hi, what did you spray on the wall paper, cabinets and the cabinet knobs?
Wonderful transformation! Why do you wear masks?
Because she is cutting wood, sanding plaster etc - H&S
So how much she spends?

Wgat a wpmderfi; jpb! I wish she would clean my house. May God bless you
Location location location
Well the title of this video was very misleading this is 2 different places so how much did the second place cost?
That’s what I was thinking too!
Il es terrible ce dégraissant
You must tak her and what’s her name
Kafle na podłodze malować to głupi pomysł.
I agree it's seems like some sade of green is always the color on the walls in these videos, I would if it symbolizes something in particular.
I wonder what she would think of YOUR place…… I can't possibly know but I bet she would never tell you it was HORRIBLE, even if it was. Be nice.
@@lorithrower2467 who said it was horrible?
Ok I see what you’re talking about but maybe you can answer my question. Does the different shades of green mean something in particular?
Why do these peoples do renovations when are only renting
Because they want a place to be.and also if more people do less homeless population.
🤔🙄
😂😂See that mindset right there that's a problem... To turn the place into something your comfortable with that's why they renovating🤷🤷🤷
