- Finally it's here, the last part of the China diaries!!! Chongqing has some breathtaking views, many never witnessed before. Exploring this city has been a surreal experience. But does it live up to the hype? I'm not entirely sure. While the city offers magnificent architecture, it feels overly crowded and heavily targeted towards tourists. The areas surrounding the main attractions often feel underdeveloped. But, regardless, worth a visit! Check out our adventure through Chongqing in this video, and decide for yourself😉 Enjoy watching!

Hello! I am going to ChongQing next month and I was wondering how easy is it to navigate the streets there? I know google maps doesn't work well there so people use the local map apps like Baidu but it is only available in chinese (i can speak/read chinese, but not the best at it). How did you guys get around when on foot, and for taxis, which app did you use? Thanks :)
@@xdrumsticx2 We also used Baidu maps in combination with 小红书 (looking at the place on the latter and then copying the address to Baidu). Baidu shows multiple options for the route; taxi, car, walking etc. and you can book a taxi from there as well. We are on similar levels in terms of only speaking/reading a bit Chinese, and this worked out for us!

Hi, we stayed at Come stay S Hotel (Chongqing Jiefangbei). Regarding the massage, I'm not sure what the place is called, but there are plenty in the area, hope this helps!

I can't recall the exact name, but based on the location data from my photos, it was on Ciqi Street, near Jiefangbei and Xinhua Road. Hope this helps!

Chinese people when they travel to other countries, whether it is poor or rich country, they don't have any complaints about anything of that country like foods, people, places, and their cultures etc. but when the people from other countries travel to China, they will have at least one complaint about China even though they came from a poor country.
As of today, China is a heaven on Earth compared to Korea and the rest of the world. So, please don't make drama here.
