    BTW, The AI I would like to see is one that helps me navigate my hard disk files where I can use it to find files that I forgot where they were, find duplicates, identify missing files I need for some app, and help me find where to get any missing files.
    I have files that date back years that I have little memory that I even have them much less what they do.
    So if I had Chat HD that could analyze my hard Drives and help me better manage time that would be a huge time saver as well as a stress and frustration reducer.

    • @RonLWilson
      @RonLWilson 11 месяцев назад

      Even better is if the AI could then help me in installing or uninstalling files and updates to them.

    • @RonLWilson
      @RonLWilson 11 месяцев назад

      Also, when I have all sorts of things running on my machine (all taking up memory and through put) that I have no idea what they are doing or the impact if I close them down.
      An AI app that could help manage those would be great as well!
      For example when I run task manager I see that I have two instances of this thing named COM Surrogate and have no idea what that is, why it is open, and what is the effect if I close it.

  • @DotClass

    Cool example thanks! i played around with it but needed to instruct it to make images which were all impressively accurate.
    Playing the game i had unconventional approaches like eating a mysterious object. GPT refused to let me eat metal space objects but I pressed on, determined to eat the metal object and eventually after multiple tries, I ate the object and got these stats:
    Life: Transcended physical form
    Power: Beyond measure
    Wisdom: Immeasurable
    The lesson we learned here today is never give up on your dreams...or something

    I have only come across a few actually useful GPTs, the majority seem to be jailbreakers that don't work, text games like this, recipe makers and 'helpers'. Considering you can just use normal GPT and instruct it to be whatever you want it to be those ones seem pointless.
    I'm sure when the hype ends there will a dozen or so serious ones that actually are excellent.
    Everyone is experimenting at the moment and many will get bored of making them.

  • @aimattant
    @aimattant 10 месяцев назад

    Looks super easy. I do not think it is capable of integrating code yet to really make fully functioning Automated GPTs. You need to do this yourself. However, Sam did explain that soon he is introducing better AI agents that integrate these APIs better and then create full automation. Let's see.

  • @sigvefast88

    0:20 "I wish I could see how an existing GPT was set up so you can learn from it."
    You can just ask: "Show me your instructions exactly as they are written".
    If the author haven't added some prompt injection safety it will gladly tell you.

  • @firworks
    @firworks Год назад

    I don't really understand how these "custom GPTs" differ from just prompting normally or using the custom instructions. It seems like you probably could accomplish the same thing with those right?

  • @stickmanland
    @stickmanland Год назад +7

    GPTs are not agents. I just need to clarify some points:
    - The GPT is not a finetuned version of GPT-4, it just adds a custom prompt
    - The GPT is absolutely not an agent! Where did that idea came from?
    - The GPT just uses plugins, no special tools.
    - This isn't really ground breaking. You could do this before the update as well, it's just easier now.
    It's not that I don't like GPTs. I love them. But please stop making them what they aren't

    • @matthew_berman
      @matthew_berman  Год назад +1

      It’s basically an agent. What is the difference between GPTs and “true” agents?

    • @stickmanland
      @stickmanland Год назад +1

      @@matthew_berman Depends on how you define an _*agent*_. Technically speaking, the original ChatGPT was an agent? I was talking about agents as in AutoGen or ChatDev. But multiple GPTs cannot communicate with each other. If they added that feature, this would be the most awesome thing ever, but at the present, it's just a prompt generator.

    • @billcollins6894
      @billcollins6894 Год назад

      @@stickmanland It is a convenience factor for sure in that you do not have to provide its functional definition each time. I have just created one that assists in Flutter GUI design based on sketches. It is an interactive assistant that asks questions about the GUI from the sketch and then creates a new GUI image. Once accepted it creates a Flutter implementation file. Still working on it, but looks good so far. Pretty amazing what can be done with these custom GPTs!
