    I think a good starting line up would look like this:
    PG-STEPH
    SG-WIGGINS OR MELTON
    SF -JK
    PF-DRAYMOND
    C-TJD

    I'll take Melton for defense to start, but honestly I see all kinds of lineups depending on who we're playing. I'm most excited about him and slo-mo. I think Pods should run the 2nd unit as a PG. Now the Kuminga/Wiggins thing is just crazy. I feel like Kerr has not set up Kuminga for success. His defense did get better last year but they should run actual sets for him. If you actually encourage him, he'll get better in all areas. It will be stupid if they let him leave because they want to lowball him when it comes to contracts.They should focus on other players to excel so that Steph doesn't have all of the pressure. He can go off, whenever he wants. Run sets for other players so they know what to do when the defense is all over Steph. I think your next video should be about the preseason game tonight at 8. I'd be interested to see your takeaways from the first preseason game. Thank you for your videos! ✌

    This is the final piece of evidence that Kuminga is outta here. He was “untouchable” at first because he’s the best player on the team that doesn’t fit their plan/system. They used him to add depth however when he stepped up his play he still got slept on.

      He's just not very good. He's had 3 years to carve out a role and show the GSW he can excel at it. With Wiggings struggling is he was a SF this should have been easy to do. But he's not self-aware and he doesn't work on the things he needs to. But he thinks he's worth the max or anywhere close it
      DELUSIONAL STAT COLLECTOR
      He will be gone by trade deadline. And GSW will get nowhere near what delusional GSW analysts and fans think he is worth. But they will have dodged A MAJOR FINANCIAL BULLET

  • @Urgelt

    Anderson is good as a Draymond sub. But he's a rental. No way he'll stay. For that reason alone, I'd use him sparingly and give more minutes to youngsters they want to keep and develop.
    Does that include Kuminga?
    Not if he's lost on defense.
    His trade value is high. And I don't think the fit is perfect unless he can slot in at the 4 and turn in excellent defense. The Dubs won't pay him the max if he can't do that. And *someone* will. He's worth it if the fit is right.
    We need to see Moody. A lot! 😊

    • @kevinmclain4080
      @kevinmclain4080 2 дня назад

      JK doesn't have high trade value. The league knows exactly what GSW knows. He is a one dimensional player that only excels in open court.

    • @Urgelt
      @Urgelt 2 дня назад

      @@kevinmclain4080 You think?
      I think it depends on what he does this season. If he can improve his team defense, his positioning, and if he hits shots at a good clip from the small forward position, grab some rebounds... well, he's an athletic freak already. He's not far off as it is.
      If he does well this season, he could get big offers. Might even happen before the All-Star break.
      I don't expect a superstar to be offered. But the league has been handing out picks in trades like there's no tomorrow. I'd not regret GSW cashing in, given they don't seem to want to pay him.

    • @kevinmclain4080
      @kevinmclain4080 2 дня назад

      @Urgelt If this was the National Running and Jumping Association he would be a star. Unfortunately NBA is a skill league. We see that everywhere. Unfortunately JK just doesn't have any elite basketball skills, hasn't shown a desire to grow them, has a very low court IQ and yet is so delusional he thinks he is worth a max offer. And no it's not a coaches job (for professional players) to hold their players hands.

    • @Urgelt
      @Urgelt 2 дня назад

      @@kevinmclain4080 nah, you go too far. He has skills. Just not the skills you'd want for a max extension.
      Not yet!
      Not ever?
      I dunno about that.
      Have you seen the guys getting max rookie extensions lately? Some of them might *never* make an All-Stars game.
      Will Kuminga?
      You sound inclined to rule it out.
      I'm not so sure.

    I live in NJ and watch most 76ers games. Melton is a nice player, but was prone to bad streaks where he played and shot poorly. In games 6 and 7 vs Boston in the Conference Semifinals he had 0 points and 1 assist in 24 minutes in game 6, and in game 7 he had 7 points and 1 assist in 29 minute. He was small with the season on the line. Last year Hield was benched against the Knicks in the playoffs, because he couldn't make a shot, until he exploded for 6 3s in game 6. On the other hand Moses Moody has consistently played well in the playoffs. He has the height, weight and the exceptional wing span, along with already above average shooting, which will surely improve as he matures, hopefully this year, that would make him my choice for 3rd guard. He could play with Steph or Pods for a combined 24 minutes a game. With Steph and Pods playing 32 to 34 each. Moody could also spend some of those minutes at small forward. If he played 10 minutes at the 3, that would leave up to 18 minutes a game for Melton and/or Hield.

  • @split_head_776
    @split_head_776 2 дня назад

    I dont care what fit you want, you need to implement Kuminga and Moody into your system because they are great young players. Trade them or fire Kerr.... or just give them some damn minutes. If you can find minutes for non NBA players like Anthony Lamb, Ty Jerome and Cory Joseph, you can find minutes for those guys.

    Kerr saying he doesn't think of JK as a 3 means that Kerr doesn't trust Kumingas ball handling and decision making (IQ plays).
    I think with Wiggins not able to play during the preseason game, Kuminga really has to show out that he can play the 3, even if it's just a pre season game.

    I don't know if Kerr and the Warriors have handled Jonathan's time with the Warriors well at all. I'm not saying i know for certain things could have been handled better, but between the Warriors winning ways and winning now plans and all the crazy happenings and vets talking at him and coach talking at him....everybody's just talking at JK all this time and the poor kid wants to do is ball.
    He can't speak English deeply, is still learning nuances to our language but the fact he can speak enough makes his coach and teammates and media act and talk and throw media questions at him and it's all just been noise. I mean, he understands some of it, but a lot is just overkill and unfair to him.
    He's been cool for the most part, other than the time he said he'd lost Kerr's trust (but maybe Kerr could have communicated better, and JK immediately was cool and open about things again, the guys' a good man.)
    He works his butt off, shoots a great %, hustles and gets tons of buckets nobody else is getting and stretching the D downward for shooting to come in after. He gives them something they need.
    Yet, in ALL this time of three years they failed to clear space even kinda clear some space or alot him some starting time and really try to sort it out. The Dubs never made sure to have shooters at the bigs more knowing (or they should have) that JKs is a 3 in every way but the 3 pt shooting and there's still time for him to improve there. So why didn't the Warriors make sure to get shooting bigs?
    Also, i know most will fight me on this, but at the time i didn't want to re-sign Wiggins. I didn't think i'd be this right (two almost quiet seasons) but that too took simply the chance to really see about JK away too.
    I realize maybe i just love JK too much. Could be. But they haven't in earnest really given him the legit shot, that's what gets me.
    Everybody's talking at JK, you can see it just stresses things and people through it all have i feel dissed him and his game in unhealthy ways since he doesn't speak the same language and then these talks get to the reporters and they ask these questions that are just noise to JK but he's got to try to answer through the language barrier.
    I don't know. Long post, my bad. I just don't appreciate the Warriors and Kerr's sense of JK and what and how things could have better been communicated and also carved out for JK (at the least to see what this high pick could be before you move on him or allow him to walk.) Seems like the Dubs are heading towards just kinda not handling JK right and letting some other team find out.
    Peace. I hope i'm wrong, and there are always injuries maybe this will all take care of itself.

    So basically, in the warriors front office's mind, if we keep kuminga coming off the bench we can pay him less money next year. Sure we have to match other teams offer, but no one is paying a bench player a max so its still a better chance.

    • @svk_5104
      @svk_5104 3 дня назад

      They would be pretty stupid to not have him starting, especially if it’s because they think it would save them some money. I don’t see Kuminga regressing any this year so at the very least you’re getting the same Kuminga from last year and there are a lot of teams that would offer max or very close to max money for that Kuminga. He’s only 21 and seems to be getting better each year so teams will offer big money just based off how well he plays right now, he has 3+ years before he hits his “prime” years and has shown huge star potential. As long as he doesn’t regress, he’s getting paid. I think he’ll be starting and then if he doesn’t play up to standards they move him back to the bench but we’ll see. It all just depends on how he plays.

    • @nico77212
      @nico77212 3 дня назад

      @@svk_5104 that's what I said last year. But they still did it. How much more when you can save money. Sure some teams might take the risk but that's still a maybe. Yeah his good, but is he a franchise type of player that you are willing to pay max cash when he's only a bench player? That's just irresponsible.
