Just to pick your brain, why not leave your 6 stack where it spawned to force red, or another player, to hit it and waste troops? Is it just a matter of personal preference or a greater over all tactical move?
Mostly because I wanted to stake a claim over the islands bonus, and 6 troops is a lot of troops to just giveaway for free. Generally speaking, leaving small stacks in their original spot is fine if you have no chance of using that material to benefit you later on. In this case, I knew I could rescue the troops so the benefit of keeping them outweighs whatever attacker's advantage roll the opponent would get on it.
I just use RUclips's auto recommended placement, apparently that means they blast it full of ads. Sorry about that, I removed most of them on this video. It's a shame they don't let tailor the auto-placement to say how many you want and then have then place that many at a natural breakpoint for you.
What a strange play by yellow leaving the 1 red territory.
20:30 "He has probably 80-something troops here ..."
20:31 [He has 80 troops immediately come down.]
😂😂😂
