At the end of the year I like to look back and think what was the most important thing I learned. This year the most important thing I learned was "it doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to be done." Saved me a lot of time and frustration! 👍
I really like creating done lists. Daily to-do lists have always made me feel overwhelmed. Now, because I often can't complete tasks due to pain, I have a list of things I want to accomplish that are not time sensitive, so I can do them when I feel able. I will be adding the first days to my calendar, starting with adopting a senior for Christmas. I will be making this a year-round tradition.
This year has been tough. Health issues, relationship issues... I could go on. 2024 has been a lesson. 2025 I’m not sure 🤔 but this is refreshingly encouraging to start the year with a different approach to the new year and life. Thank you for giving me a different perspective. I’ve followed you channel for a long time. Thank you ❤ x
2024 was a struggle. My husband lost his job (found a better one then!) then I lost my job (decided to retire) and have home repairs that needed to get done. Terrible depression that affected my health. I know 2025 will be better! I’ve been decluttering and cleaning. I’m going to get back to my jewelry making!
Great video! Love things like this. I have many lists of maintenance things that I keep up with. Makes my life so much easier! Mondays are my reset day: everthing from restocking toilet paper, vitamins in my daily dispenser, restocking pantry while also making a grocery list, refilling soaps etc. makes me feel ready for the week
I’ve just started my annual leave until 2nd Jan & have decided to use this time to set up a good foundation for myself for a more successful, productive 2025. Clothes to mend, bedroom workstation to declutter & set up (overall bedroom redecoration), healthy routines, reflect on 2024 highlights, 2025 action & maintenance plan, CV review etc ready for job hunting, reconnect with friends, book appointments/courses for January, bit of financial planning, so it’s like a huge “reset catch up”. I like the idea of a no list but I’m not sure what I’d say no to atm.
Great ideas but I really like Plan a “firsts” day and it will be something small. I love Build your “no” list, this is genius. Thanks a always Laura. Have a great week. Mary, Joes wife 🙇♀️👏👍💪🙏💐🐕🦺🎄
Oh, i love the antlers! My dog, Apricot, loves carrots too!

Still learning that lesson myself. 😅
I love that!

Yeah, 2024 kinda sucked. 😂 It's exactly why I wanted to make this video. Put a little pep in our step. 💖

It's Sundays for me. It's great to get it all done in one go, isn't it?
I'm saying no to cooking single meals. Anything I can prep several batches at once, I am doing it!

Ready to try a "firsts" day!😊
I'm gonna start taping things to the fridge this year😂
