Super interesting! I would love to see what collected data looks like, and how it correlates with the actual condition the pipes once they've been excavated for repairs. Hopefully Pure Technologies and/or @thecityofcalgary could share video of this process in the near future! Residents of Calgary, Alberta, Canada have heard a lot about Pure Technologies and the PipeDiver recently, with extensive coverage by the local media. After our feeder main break was finally repaired earlier this summer, the PipeDiver was deployed to inspect 10.4 km of concrete feeder main. It identified 16 additional sections of pipe that urgently require repair to avoid the risk of future breaks, which means our city will face another month of water restrictions. I'm thankful for innovations like the PipeDiver to enable the city to act proactively. Despite the challenges and frustration felt by Calgary residents over our aging/failing infrastructure, the role of the PipeDiver in "coming to the rescue" could ultimately be seen as a positive success story!
