    Fun fact: in the U.S. sherbet/sherbert is a dessert similar to ice cream but with less milkfat. Typically comes in orange or rainbow flavors. I think the rainbow generally involves orange, raspberry and lime but it's been about 25 years since I've had it.

    Yes and we have a more coarse type of powder sherbet in pixie stick. our sorbet is like frozen ice crystals/ fruit or other flavors and our sherbet is the consistency more like ice cream but a bit smoother and of course no dairy in it. mostly just fruit flavors, really just fruit LIKE flavors. it's very light and refreshing!

    HI Tam! Great video as usual 😉 I think that the chocolate pen could work this way: maybe, once you have eaten up all the chocolate candies, you could insert a ballpoint pen refill trasforming the package into a real, working pen as long as there' s a hole in the tip 😆 Hugs from Italy 😉

    If it's someone from America that's asking what Sherbet is then you should tell them that the American equivalent is pixie sticks, Baby Bottle pops and so forth.

    • @CheekyTam
      @CheekyTam  8 лет назад +2

      Hope I didn't freak you out by mentioning your name LOL I was directing the coconut thing right at you. I automatically think of you when I get something with coconut in it especially if I have a Munchpak with a coconut item as I know you get the Munchpak. Thanks for that Kenny I'll let my American subscribers know that the pixie sticks are sherbert also I believe you get the fun dips there too.

    In north america sherbert - is a frozen fruit and dairy product that contains anywhere from 1 percent to 3 percent milkfat from milk or cream. but to what you refer to sherbert is like pixie stixs or fun dip here in Canada

    1. The thing from the udon might have been a fox rather than a kitty cat.

    I get a Japanese subscription box every month too. I love busting into it with my son and checking out all the candies and snack foods. We also get the kits as well, we can't read the directions either so I go on here and find Americans or other people who are speaking English that make the same kit on camera so I can see how I'm supposed to make them. Maybe that will help you?

      Thanks Ritchie, I wasn't sure what candy was similar and I've been asked a few times what sherbert is, a tricky thing to describe. I know there is also something called Sherbert that is like sorbet.

    I had looked away from the computer screen to turn off the air condition, when you said what I THOUGHT was "hockey sticks"! Candied hockey sticks? Jeez. Of course, it was Pocky Sticks. Silly me. Here in North America a "sherbet" is rather akin to ice cream but with no milk, and no I don't know how they're made. But the're good!
