I got a strange message yesterday in response to a fan message I left for Jeff Bridges a few months ago. In this response it thanked me and said these words "when Jeff had cancer." Jeff had been diagnosed with Lymphoma back in Oct 2020. There had been an update saying Jeff was doing well and the treatment seemed to be working. Then in Dec a picture of Jeff and his wife. I started to search and find out what the status was because of the strange message and the only thing I found was an obituary saying Jeff Bridges passed away on May 2, 2021. I'm devastated and very confused as to why no one in the media is saying anything about the passing of this very famous and wonderful individual. There is no doubt Jeff is very much loved by so many. Again, I'm so confused because I do think Jeff has very likely died from his cancer. And since it was announced why are they making this such a secret?
@@norahj.9970 Thank you Norah. What was sent to me I ended up realizing was a prank. What was odd was how devastated I felt when I wondered if he had actually passed. It's odd how when some famous people pass how much some of us can unexpectedly feel so deeply effected. If Jeff Bridges should go before I do, and I'm in good health and younger. Now I know it's really going to hit me. My sadness came to me in a way I did not expect. I felt so bad for his wife and brother, Beau. It's an odd thing. I really think Jeff Bridges is loved by so many. He's a good person, not perfect, but pretty close. Thank you for understanding and sending me a message. I'm pleased to hear he's alive and hopefully making progress. I'm not on twitter, no access. So thanks again.

There are some celebrities that we feel connected to through their amazing art and also their humanitarian side, and it would be such a sorrowful moment when they leave this world. I'm glad Jeff is alive and I hope he's getting his strength back because I love him too and he deserves good health and happiness for the years he's offered us great entertainment. I think he's very much alive. It wouldn't stay a secret if an actor of his caliber had died. His twitter has last been updated on May 11.
