I'm not awake enough first thing in the morning to successfully operate a French press! LOL! We have a drop machine with a timer. I prep the night before, and when the first alarm goes off in the morning, the coffee has just finished brewing! Morning Dan!
I should've read the instructions...........didn't know you have to give it time to brew. I just immediately go to pressing the plunger down and start sipping away. Learned something new. Thanks Dan.☕👍
Lol… Yep! Four minutes is the average recommendation and in the instructions I got with a stainless steel French press that I break out on the weekend, it also said to let the grounds brew for approximately four minutes.

Spend around 200 bucks on a decent Burr grinder...encore by baratza.... perfectly ground coffee for french press......4-5 mows and its paid off.
