Hello, what type of grease did you apply for plastic planetary gears? And I have noticed the screwdriver has different rpm each for clockwise and anti clockwise. Do you know why?
I find that any general purpose grease is ok with good quality plastic gears. Electric motors always have more power in one direction which means clockwise and anticlockwise speeds are rarely equal.
@@DaftOldMan So based on your experince that grease won`t wear out the cogs in the long run, right? What about the silocone grease which is non petroleum based? Have you ever tried one?
@@ilker5465 Yes I have tried silicon grease, it also works fine. I have not had any problem with any grease damaging plastic gears and I have repaired many tools.
Hello. Thanks a lot for this very helpfull video. I have a question. I have lost the very small gear with 6 teeth and a D-shaft that comes to the motor. do you know where i could by it? On aliexpress i find hundreds of all kinds but not this exact model😢😢😢 i would like so much to repair this screwdrewer than buy a new one even if it is unexpensive... thanks in advance for any clue...
Thanks for your answer. I have checked their detached pieces site but too old ixo. I have sent them an email. Expecting answer. but in the meantime i ordered a new one on amazon😢 44 euros, delevidered in one day... my work has to proceed😊
@@LaurenceGE You could try asking one of the aliexpress shops. Give them the exact specifications. If you can get a cheap part you will have two tools. Good luck.
