I used to live in Perth...and used that road up until 2015....it was busy then, especially at peak times. This looks like a good proposal. Just be thankful you’re not driving over here in Melbourne in normal times...
This is a ridiculously overengineered solution to car traffic. Installing alternative forms of transport such as bicycle infrastructure or public transport would be cheaper and actually reduce the traffic. I guarantee that if this is built, it will get clogged within 2 years.
Yeah right, build million dollar public transport that is dirty and always late? no thank you! I'll stick with my car, the only problem with this project is that there is not enough lanes to accommodate traffic and no emergency lanes. Take your trains and buses somewhere else thank you!
@@richardbug3094 adding lanes has been proven to cause traffic levels to rise; which results in more traffic, meaning congestion, meaning more lanes. also public transport is only inefficient because of underfunding...and it's still way cheaper than the cost of car infrastructure, or cars in general. do your fucking research, moron
lets hope the bridges will be higher than the bayswater bridge ....
I hope eventually they will have enough funding for this because it’s gonna be so cool
Off ramps? Alexander Rd, archer st, Leach Hwy, etc? Emergency Lanes? Is two lanes enough for future?
Love to know how tenants of Orrong road access their property after this, or how much they lose
absolutely brilliant
I don't see any driveways to Orrong Road for the dwellings on Orrong Road.
the sunken stretches of Orrong need emergency lanes in case of breakdowns.
growth for growths sake is making us poorer by the day.
It's part of a ponzi scheme of debt based economic growth and privatised central banking.
When will this start?
What about drainage in the trench
Saad Parekh what about it?? Never seen drains in roads?
I think it wold be better to put the street names on the respective streets, I missed some of them. And enunciate them.
Um, OK. Here is a question? Why?
Are you kidding, have you used Orrong road in the morning or afternoon, one of the busiest roads in Perth
