    what material did you use to get these readings? and thank you this video is very helpful!

      I used the sample data given by Edexcel. They claim it’s for copper but if that were true it would give an E of 117GPa or thereabouts… so I suspect it is either not copper or there is a large error built in!
      Unless I have made an error in my calculations but if so, I can’t spot it!

    How did u calculat area
    Area =4"pie"r^2?

      Yes, for the cross sectional area of a wire. Beware questions though where it’s of some other shape. Regardless, you need cross-sectional area.

      Cuboids mostly so just width x depth. Nothing too tricky, just a matter of paying attention.
