CITV ceases broadcasting - 1 September, 2023 (RIP CITV)

1 September, 2023 marks an end of an era, after 40 years, 17 as a standalone channel, CITV ceases broadcasting on linear television, as of tomorrow ITVX Kids strand will be on ITV2 between the hours of 5am and 9am serving as a device to push viewers to watch ITVX, this also marks the return to childrens programming on ITV2 after over a decade.
