Hi! 73 year old BTS fan here. My favorite group ever. No matter what you are in the mood for, they've got you covered. Hard rap to soft ballads and everything in between. You won't regret watching more. Their early stuff is just as good now as it was 11 years ago.

Hey there, 58 year old BTS ARMY here. BTS debuted in June 2013, and they were ages 15 to 20 when they debuted. They are now ages 26 to 31.
Allow me to give you some background information on this song: This fun retro-funk track was released in 2020, at the height of the Covid pandemic. BTS had to give up on their original plans of a massive stadium world tour and instead created content to help listeners - and themselves - through that hard time. To answer your questions: BTS debuted in 2013, their name is an acronym of the Korean words Bangtan Sonyeondan, which translates as Bulletproof Boyscouts.They are between 26 and 31 now. The members have released a lot of fantastic, versatile solo work over the last two years.
They debuted in june 2013, they were all very young then, 15 to 20. Now 26 to 31.
BTS is for BangTan Sonyeondan which means Bulletproof Boyscouts.
They are excellent vocalists and totally professional around their art. Three rappers and four vocalists, and seven dancers, although some are more confident on their feet than others.
53 yr old ARMY ( the name of their fan base in case you weren’t aware) here. They are one of the most amazing artist around. Their songs are usually very deep and meaningful, and touch on topics not common for a KPop band, although they will release an occasional bop. This song was during the pandemic, and they wanted to release a happy song to help cheer people up. They are a huge rabbit hole that just takes ahold of you and doesn’t let you go. They have amazing solo songs as well. Right now all of the members with the exception of Jin, the oldest, are serving their mandatory 18 month military service ( Jin already completed his time in June). Yet before they left, they created content for their fans, with RM and Jimin releasing new albums while in the service. So that tells me they are really about their fans, as they can’t promote this while in the military, there are no shows, or performances they can do. But they still released music to keep their fan base happy and I love that. It is not just the two of the members, but all of them created and are slowly releasing content for their fans. All of the members will be reunited in June of 2025, and I can’t wait. But for now they are still my favorite band. They sound amazing live, so if you want to check out some of their work, you can check out tiny desk concert ( they sing 3 songs including the one you just reacted to) or their 2021 Festa, where they sing around a minute of around 7 of their songs, again live. They debuted in 2013 when most were still teenagers so that explains why they still look young after 11 years, the oldest is 31 and the youngest is 27 this year. and this song came out 3 years ago
68 year old ARMYs!! BTS changed my life a few years ago....I also knew a lot of groups including Muse at the Stade de France...but nothing had prepared me to love these 7 so talented Korean boys!! It’s the rabbit hole!! have a good trip !!

I'm a 54 year old BTS fan and this song always cheers me up. They released it (one of their very few All English songs) during the Pandemic to make us feel good 🥹💜. My kids are in their age range (97-92) so I feel like the members are my boys too. Glad you enjoyed, this was fun!

BTS have been a group since 2013 and Dynamite at this point was their only fully English song as a group and it wasn't written by them unlike most of their work. The boys heard the song and felt it would lose some of the disco funk if translated into Korean which is how it came to be fully English and was released when C19 was in full swing. The song was meant to help cheer up fans who were struggling during this incredibly hard time and it earned them their first Grammy non for best group/duo. (How they lost is another story...) Anyway they have a massive body of work - both as a group and soloist as they're completing their mandatory military service since 6 of the 7 are now active because Jin, the oldest, was released on June 12th. BTS offer everything from hard rap, emotional ballads, thoughtful social commentary and songs just for us fans (we're called ARMY). The 4 members of the vocal line are top tier while the 3 rappers are all incredible in their own way with every voice/rapper being unique, but they complement one another as a group like nothing I've heard before.
Most awarded artists in the history of music with 1,400 Music Awards. BTS stand for BangTan Sonyeodan which can be translated into English as Bulletproof boy scouts. Pop isn't their main genre of music. They are 7 solo artists who choose to work together. 7 individual Song Writers, 7 Composers, 7 Producers each to a greater or lesser extent.
They broke the mold, as their tiny almost bankrupt company went against most of the Kpop Industry norms. They gave them complete Artist Freedom the only stipulation was they wrote about their own selves their stories, their struggles, thoughts, what they were interested in, learning etc etc. They tactical topic's not very often mentioned in Kpop such as important Social and Cultural Issues, Psychology, Mental Health. They were allowed to have their own private individual social media accounts something unheard of as the company can't control their private media accounts.
They were denied the normal paths to kpop shows and variety shows and the very few they did manage to get onto were extremely rude to them. They were the first Kpop Idol's to go on line and chat with fans live, telling us their problems, their album making process, their thinking, worries, fun thing. They were the first kpop artist to start their own variety show and showing us their behind the scenes footage and much much more.

They debuted 13th June 2013 and they are all in they're late 20's early 30's now completing their military duties although Jin the eldest member returned in June and J Hope returns in October. The remaining 5 member all return in the middle of June 2025.
