The Schönhauser Allee crossing with the 6 streets meeting at an angle, the tram and the U-bahn - very nostalgic for me; the first time, I was there, it was still DDR - feels like a long time ago...
I was grown up there. These neighbourhood has changed a lot. So many restaurants and bars, so many different people. In my youth I made a lot parties in the Kulturbrauerei at 3:42 Its a former brewery and now there are clubs, bars, restaurants and a cinema inside. On the Schönhauser Alle 0:10 (with the lifted subway, Berliner call this Magistratschirm 9:31) is the Gin Chilla Bar where you get the best gin-based-cocktails. Next to it there is the Droide 1:10 . You'll become drunken, for sure. At the beginning you filmed the Papestraße (Tram 12) There is a cocktail-bar where you get the cocktail in a bucket with 2-3 liters. OMG. And there is the Pong. I wont say anything about this. These days. Crazy. At 9:15 there is the Danziger Straße with the Party-Tram M10 1:45. Everyone has a beer in its hands. These saturday-evenings were so great. I miss it. I love Berlin but its prices become very high and the wages are still low compared to other German cities. Also Berlin still hasn't a real car free walking zone. Only in Spandau there is one.

I remember also my Berlin. Also.DDR. today ...the Berlin I see. Makes me ofte n sad. It is primitiv ...every immigrant brings their "culture" mammie in their suitcase....to many suitcases... to much for me...and still I am so happy to be able to see it because you do the work...i gave up. I thought. German culture is strong enough to survive....it did not. Look what we have...
Nice video, but providing the natural ambience and atmosphere instead of overwriting it with that meaningless music would have resulted in an experience far better.
