Nick, my brother Tim passed a couple of months ago. He drowned in a pool while trying to hold his breath. We first started doing this on our scuba trip in Thailand in the beginning of 2010 - right when Upular came out. We were instantly obsessed. We both loved your music. It was one of the common things we shared. This was his favorite song for sure though. He moved out to San Diego near us last year and we would spend our nights listening to this, Go Out and Love Someone and the entire Kindred Shadow album. I wanted to let you know how much of an impact you made on him - and ultimately us. We still listen to your music regularly. In fact, in the last moments of Tim's life, while in a coma fighting to come back, we would rest his phone next to his ear and put his "Pogo Playlist" on. I remember the moment I said goodbye to him - Boo Bass was playing. Thanks for making such beautiful music and sharing it with the world.

There is something mysteriously captivating about this. I've never even heard of The Mighty Boosh, but for some reason I just keep coming back to this video and listening to it as though it's bringing back some nostalgic memories for me or something. IT'S WEIRD BUT I LOVE IT. Keep it up, Pogo!
You should most definitely watch the Mighty Boosh, if you like absurd surreal comedy... Like I do.
It's exactly like that when I watch the show (as well as this video of course, Pogo has an insane ability to encapsulate the essence of something in a song). When I'm so stressed or sad I can't turn it off I turn on Boosh and I get that same feeling of nostalgia and calm. Like the dusty smell of my old playroom carpet or finding an old sweater of my grandpa's that still smells like him (if that's not too creepy).

Indeed. There really is something about this song and over the past few months, I’ve come to realize that this song somehow embodies me. My weirdness, my funny childish personality, all of me. Idk why or how but this song strongly resonates with me.

This is the video that got me to check out the Boosh. No idea how I'd missed it before this, but Pogo successfully communicated the show's sense of surreal whimsy and now it's one of my all time favorite shows.

I know this is an old comment but even in 2015 it's cool that people are still discovering the Boosh! They were a staple for me back in the day and I always come back to them, and I hope they keep inspiring people. I can't imagine what is like watching/listening to this without having seen the show before, but I imagine it's a trip!

***** I thought it was because they were getting sick of one another. It was described as being married, and around each other 24/7. They were doing a live show, too. They did do other things after. Vince/Noel had his own show (luxury comedy) and Howard/Julian went on to do some acting, I think. At least they're still friends.
My brother and I have been huge Mighty Boosh fans for over 10 years; he showed this to me recently and well, now I’m at the point of listening to it at least a couple times a day and if it’s an exam day like today is... that replay button ain’t gonna know what hit it.

I actually started watching this show because of this song and I don't have any regrets. It was brilliant.

This is one of my favorite Pogo songs simply from the beat itself, but my coworker then recommended I watch The Mighty Boosh, because I liked Flight of the Conchords, I put it off for months and finally started watching it, and everything started to connect. I somehow, despite having listened to this song for years, and watched the video a few times, never connected the two till it was in my face directly.

I don't know if that was some odd joke that went over my head, but The Mighty Boosh is pretty far from a kids' show. I mean, it's not obscene or anything like that, but it definitely wasn't designed for a primary demographic of kids.

As a fan of Mighty Boosh i was amazed when i found this (as I was when I found Alice, my first Pogo song) I have to say I am alway so impressed at the music you make from music and sound bites of dialouge. Its amazing, it always puts me in a fantastic mood and i catch myself singing along. Have to listen to this song all the time, its just pure brilliance.

This is how i ended up finding Noel Fielding. Now I enjoy watching him in a variety of British shows, that are often posted on youtube.
I've seen all the Mighty BOosh and this is an incredible tribute to a very unique and bizarre show.
This is brilliant to listen to, especially since I finished The Mighty Boosh just yesterday. I'm so glad that my mom introduced me to this show. I remember seeing this video, but being weirded out by it and never getting far because I didn't know what this was. Now it's strange knowing.
As an American I have never seen this show in my life.
***** have you heard the Midfield General track with Noel Fielding called Midfielding? that was the first time I heard Noel Fielding and used to play it all the time. I remember flicking through the channels when Boosh started and came across it, instantly recognised his voice and was like "holy shit!". It was such a good show!
It did air on American television on Adult Swim for a while.
There's also American DVDs for three separate volumes or the complete series.

I just discovered this series on hulu! With only 20 episodes over 3 seasons, it's definitely binge-worthy, but you want to take it slow, so you can savor each one for the first time.
