I am so grateful for you! This is my second year tutoring (I have been utilizing your videos since day one) and you certainly helped me from crying myself to sleep more than I can count. Ha! Plus, my kids really enjoy the ideas you come up with! Thank you so much for sharing your gift!
I watched hoping for more hand motions also. Those were helpful last week. I found this video with motions. Number 9 is similar to last week's number 3 but I think it still works. ruclips.net/video/5i_g6qZgENA/видео.html
For latin, would you turn around while saying the latin nouns and whoever had the "hot potato" was it? or whoever it landed on at the end of the chant?
Awesome ideas, as usual! Have you heard of the dice game Tenzi? It’s very fun and it comes with many ideas for variations…anyway, it comes with 6 different colors of 10 dice in each color. Would be perfect for your math idea.
I wish I was disciplined enough to post early! I have tried to plan in advance but I just cannot keep ahead. I do have all the video from the last time through the cycle and while I had the younger class some of the ideas might still give you inspiration!
I did the last time through the cycle, but with having the older ones I may switch it up a bit. Here is the video I used last time through ruclips.net/video/lj08_kRNOuY/видео.html
Hi Catalina! Ok so let me try to explain it better. I give one student a handful of dice (6-10 depending on how difficult you want to make it). They try to roll the dice until they have rolled all the same number (a Yahtzee in the original game). This week they had roll all 3s or all 4s since that was what we were learning. While the student is rolling the rest of the class chants the math facts. Depending on the number of student in your class, you may want to just chant through one number before passing on the dice so everyone gets a turn. If the student gets a Yahtzee before we're done chanting then hooray! If not, no big deal. They then pass the dice to another student and you repeat until you have your 7 times in. Hope that helps!
@@lovemrsc84 I'm a tad confused too since I've never played Yahtzee. For clarification if we choose the number 3 and they roll 6 die and 2 land on 3 they would only pick up the 4 that did not land on 3 for the next roll? Also, thank you SO much for your videos.
Persian Gulf - I am planning on saying "Purrrr-sian" Gulf, like a cat chasing two strings (the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers).
Love that!
You only have one set of timeline cards, right? So when they are putting them in order, are you timing them and then letting the first group go?

Oh, no tears allowed here! I am sure you are an awesome tutor and it's wonderful you care so much about doing a great job. Glad I can help!
Did you have finger motions like the first five commandments? I used the first five this past week and they were very helpful!

Do you have motions for commandments 6-10? I loved the ones you had for 1-5.
