I didn't know IGA still existed either! The only one I ever knew about was in Wareham, MA in the mid to late 80's when I was growing up. Not sure exactly when, but it eventually became a Shaw's.
As someone in Idaho, who also sees the In n Out employees while i'm at work (I work at a hotel), I can confirm that the line was certainly long for the first week and a half, but now the line has calmed down a lot. I waited in line for the opening of a brand new Krispy Kreme for 20 minutes because my kids wanted to watch the donuts being made. That 20 minutes was way too long for me. About 4-5 years ago, White Castle opened a location in Scottsdale, AZ. There was a 4+ hour wait to get into the parking lot to get in line for the drive thru. I was at a venue across the street about a week after it opened and there were well over 500 vehicles waiting on the road to get to WC's lot. They had to hire off duty police to keep traffic moving and road rage down. I was told it was that crazy for weeks before finally slowing down. A coworker went there late last year, on a Saturday evening, there was a 2 hour wait to get to the drive thru. Smh

We have In-N-Out all over NorCal. There are some restaurants that have been open for no less than 20 years, but they still have drive-thru lines that are 10 to 15 cars deep during early evening rush.
I would do that if I was paid an 8 hour wage 8 hours is ludicrous. It's beyond stupid. You could get there when the early shift starts and leave when the late shift arrives. Absolutely outrageous
The meat is 100% beef, never frozen and sourced within 300 miles. The cheese is 100% cheese - no fillers or crap, only real cheese I know that’s why I prefer it.
It's the best burger in my opinion. Its the only one that isn't so greasy it makes me want to throw up, or so dry I can't take more than a single bite. The lettuce and tomatoes are fresh. They cut through the fattiness. The burgers aren't oily and greasy, but still tender. Everyone around me kept hyping up Five Guys me whole life and when I finally got one, I took like five small bites and had to throw it away. Made me feel like I was having a heartattack
@XOChristianaNicole OK, but the fries are dogshit. The burger could come from the literal hand of God himself, but if it came with those fries? Nah I'm good send me down to hell with satan I bet he's got McDonald's fries down there.
I live really close to this Idaho in n out and I chuckle every day as I drive by it. There was a line of people camped out the night before it opened!! In the middle of December…
Anyone that thinks in n out is overrated are people that dont live near one, got it hyped up to them, went there once on a trip and were disappointed it was a fast food restaurant. You need to live around a in n out to appreciate it. Its shining quality is its consistency and freshness of its ingredients. You cant learn and appreciate consistent quality by going there just once on your trip to LA that one time....
Fast food is never fast anymore, waited 20 minutes for my Mcdouble yesterday we just left the drive through... I love that this man exposes these companies for their bulls*it and gives there secret recipies for revenge. All hail king Jordan The stallion.
We used to have several 24 hour McDonalds in my town and now we only have one since the pandemic (McDonalds is the only 24 hour foid place except the gass station) so any time it's close to or after 11 expect at least a half hour wait if it's a weekend at least an hour. I usually watch netflix on my phone or listen to an audiobook. Though it will start to thin out a bit around 4 am. I know this cause I have spent one too many nights pulling all nighters and had to go out to get food because I didn't have any groceries, lol.
Every day I have to convince myself that 8 hours of my time is worth getting paid for. It's absolutely not worth paying someone else for a cheeseburger.
years ago, starting around 1am, the wait time at White Castle would go up to about 2 hours for the Drive-Thru, lasting usually until around 5am, due to the bars closing at 1am
The thing about in and out burger is, you see everything going on in back to make your meal. Fresh potatoes, burgers on the flattop. The people that work there have smiles on their faces and are upbeat even in stressful times of the day. There is another part of in and out burger that dates back to the 50's.
I work 1 mile from that new location in Boise. I get off work at 11PM, and there is still a ridiculous line when i drive past it on the way home. Ill try it one day...one day.
This happens all the time in Idaho. I was a hostess for a newly opened Chinese restaurant and I had to double as a reservationist for about 6 months because guests couldn't get a seat without waiting an hour unless they called and reserved a table.... this was not a fancy Chinese restaurant either. When a Denny's first opened up in my Idaho town, there was a 4-hour wait to get seated and 45 to 1-hour wait for your meal to arrive. A month later, there was still a 2-hour wait to get a table ... once the newness wears off, in-and-our will go back to the regular wait times. That's what happened to Denny's 😅
I lived in Colorado when they got their first In N Out and I live in Idaho now, and both times all I could think is that you could drive to the nearest In and Out in a different state faster than you would get through that drive- through line.
Honestly making fast food recipes at home helped me lose weight by rearranging my tastebuds to not crave it as much anymore. I think it was the novelty of “you can only get it here” that made me crave it, not how good the food itself tasted because tbh the original was just ok. Homemade is much better since you can make it *exactly* how you want it, and if you do a good job you can never go back to eating that restaurant’s food. Unless the labor is truly too much, which it usually isn’t for *fast* food as long as you have the right tools. For example if you like fries get a manual fry slicer, it’s $15 and saves an hour of prep time.
I'm from Idaho, and thank you!! I'm not even going to consider waiting that long. I've had In & Out in California and north Las Vegas when I drove truck OTR and you're right, it ain't that good! Concerning the sauce, is it as good without the Worcestershire for those with a fish allergy?
@thereckoning5488 Really? I haven't been, I'll have to check it out although I hate Boise ever so much! Google maps is saying it's at State St and Curtis?
Half cup of mayo 3 tablespoons ketchup 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of sugar 2 tablespoons of sweet table relish 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar Worcestershire sauce
The In&Out spread also has caramelized onions. The buns are toasted on the inside, don't forget that, it's important. The rest is standard burger fare.
We have in & out here in California. The wait in line can be about an hour around lunch time. Quicker if you go in. I'm with you, while the burgers are ok but not worth the wait in line.
I gotta defend the in and out folks just a little, if they are constantly averaging wait times over 8 hours yeah that would be near impossible to track, it also eliminates the lunch “rush” because you’re always in rush mode. Thanks for the recipe though, definitely making it at home on a burger that’s good meat and toppings lol.
I live near that area, didn't realize an in and out moved, may have to check it out since I haven't been to one since I moved out of San Diego so long ago...but still...I never thought it was that good.
Former In-N-Out employee here. It's literally just a slightly modified version of Thousand Island dressing. The recipe is essentially the same as normal Thousand Island, except you remove the relish oddly enough.
How are you going to call yourself in and out and have an 8 hour wait time 😂

SnS burns their burgers until it's ash. Best burgers my ass.
@@svn5994 My favorite by far is Whataburger.
@@lorireed8046 I didn’t say they were the best. I said they were better.
We have In-N-Out all over NorCal. There are some restaurants that have been open for no less than 20 years, but they still have drive-thru lines that are 10 to 15 cars deep during early evening rush.
I would do that if I was paid to eat the burger
I would do that if I was paid an 8 hour wage
8 hours is ludicrous. It's beyond stupid. You could get there when the early shift starts and leave when the late shift arrives. Absolutely outrageous
You have to remember for quite a few folks the funnest thing for them in Idaho is cow tipping 😂😂 so a new burger joint is like a concert to them 😂❤😅
Just got my sweatshirt merch! Took a while, but I legit couldn’t be happier! Thank you bro the price was well worth it! SAY HI TO HARVEY FOR ME ❤
Had to see what the max size was I think I'm to big
You are so slick!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾😊
Our king
Our god 👑
In 8 hours you could hand make enough cheeseburgers to feed a literal platoon of soldiers.
Genuinely baffled by how In-N-Out has captured the hearts and minds of so many people. It’s not even the best fast food burger.
The meat is 100% beef, never frozen and sourced within 300 miles.
The cheese is 100% cheese - no fillers or crap, only real cheese
I know that’s why I prefer it.
@@XOChristianaNicole You look and sound like a robot shill.
I liked 5 Guys burgers . The price is the bigger problem. @@Medbread
This man saved Idaho's people 8 hours which they can spend way better than waiting for a damn burger. Salute! What a guy!👏🏾
This man is the archetype of chaotic good
Thanks for showing us from Idaho some love
As soon as he pulled the sauce packet out I knew where this was going 😂
This is why you can’t be a Karen to a customer if you work fast food, it could be Jordan.
Take care of yourself Jordan, all these fast food chains must be looking for you 😂
Ain’t no way I’m spending the ENTIRETY OF A WORK DAY waiting for a mid burger.
May god bless this guy and keep him protected
8 hours is never worth it
Fr
Every day I have to convince myself that 8 hours of my time is worth getting paid for. It's absolutely not worth paying someone else for a cheeseburger.
years ago, starting around 1am, the wait time at White Castle would go up to about 2 hours for the Drive-Thru, lasting usually until around 5am, due to the bars closing at 1am
this man literally just saved us 8 hours of our time
The thing about in and out burger is, you see everything going on in back to make your meal.
Burgers are hands down my all time favorite food. I've never had In And Out either, but I'm not gonna wait 8 hours for a burger.
When Five Guys showed up in England, the burgers at McDonald's and Burger King immediately improved.
God bless you and your channel 🙏 you are the best 🎉
I'm in love with this man ❤
Jordan's the hero we didn't know we needed ❤
I lived in Colorado when they got their first In N Out and I live in Idaho now, and both times all I could think is that you could drive to the nearest In and Out in a different state faster than you would get through that drive- through line.
Lmao this is my In N Out. Been there 3x already lmao. 😂
Boise has the best burger place in Idaho.. Viking ...wish there was one in southeast Idaho
@thereckoning5488 Really? I haven't been, I'll have to check it out although I hate Boise ever so much! Google maps is saying it's at State St and Curtis?
Not going to wait 8hrs but a great burger!!😋 Love the animal fries too!👏😋
That's an entire shift! Thank you, Jordan!Because in the words of Ms. Franklin (RIP) "Ain't No Way!"😊😊😊❤❤
Half cup of mayo
3 tablespoons ketchup
1 and 1/2 teaspoons of sugar
2 tablespoons of sweet table relish
1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
Worcestershire sauce
Hell, I'd wait that long for a flying dutchman. We need one in St. Louis bad.
The In&Out spread also has caramelized onions. The buns are toasted on the inside, don't forget that, it's important. The rest is standard burger fare.
You are a menace to fast food restaurants😂
And i love it😂
We have in & out here in California.
Love this guy, this is information that i can reccord 😂
The way Jordan was looking to the side...I knew that recipe was coming....gotta love him❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂
I live near that area, didn't realize an in and out moved, may have to check it out since I haven't been to one since I moved out of San Diego so long ago...but still...I never thought it was that good.
Former In-N-Out employee here. It's literally just a slightly modified version of Thousand Island dressing. The recipe is essentially the same as normal Thousand Island, except you remove the relish oddly enough.
This man just saves lives on a daily basis.
