The music book on the piano is someone else's he is playing from memory and improvising. Dimash was just trying out the incredible piano in Hungary, where he has just finished judging on a tv show with Placido Domingo, where they also performed a duet together, which will broadcast in the New Year. Dimash won a nationwide piano completion age 6. He has absolute pitch and plays many instruments, and sings in many different languages 15 so far that we know of. He has also been in musical education since he was 4/5. He is very highly musically educated right up to his current Ph.D., which he is soon to finish.
He gives live solo concerts all around the world and is making new genres of music. He is a musical genius as well as being incredibly intelligent in general. Dimash is a superstar with millions of fans worldwide ❤

Yes and it's such a rare treat to get to hear him play. He did a mini piano recital for charity after the Dubai concert in the foyer of the hotel he was staying in but unfortunately there's no footage of it.

He was just testing this special piano with only one pedal. The piano is in a museum not in his house. The music on the piano is not for this piece; he is playing by memory.

It's a completely redesigned piano where the soundboard is made of composite materials, it stands on one long foot and there were only 20 ever made. This one is in the Kersatsz institute in Budapest.

That is the year he was enrolled in the best youth music school in Kazakhstan.
He had informed his grandmother that her piano needed tuning.
He is not just classically trained in vocals but also in playing instruments.
At age 29, he is still training vocally.
He has three degrees. bachelors, Masters and his PhD...all in music.

Dimash has chord structures in his head that seem to have to be brought out, and it results in complex sounds that he needs to hear, but that we are not used to.
However when he plays piano and sings Adagio (in the original Chinese I Am Singer comp), he plays minimal notes and also in a few other songs, he has reduced the complexity, which sounds better to us.
This is not in Dimash's home, if you see the title he's actually in Hungary and he's playing on the Boganyi piano at the Kersastaz institute in Budapest. There are only 20 of these pianos in existence and they are built to appear as if they're floating in midair.
I highly doubt that the music book in front of him contains the song he's playing as he's playing a Kazakh folk song that he's played many times without sheet music.
Dimash has been seen playing the piano 3 times over the course of the last few days that he's been in Budapest, this one, playing the Story of One Sky (his own composition) for Tito Boganyi and the yellow piano in The Hard Rock Hotel in Budapest where he was staying whilst working as a judge on the classical music talent show The Virtuosos where he also performed a duet with Placido Domingo.

Dimash is not a professional pianist, he's said so numerous times that he loves playing different instruments, has done so since a child but that he's not a pro at any of it. Obvioiusly, he chose to focus on developing his vocals.
