Benro S8 tripod, and still rocking my Pocket 4k with Metabones speed booster and my trusty FDs. You're tripod tricks videos was the first vid of yours I saw, and it's been a life saver MANY times. Glad you're still shooting, thanks for all you share💯
I'm a hobby photographer. As such, I can't justify buying new/expensive equipment. So when Fuji announces the X-E4 for example, that means I can upgrade to a used X-E2. However, the biggest mistake I did was cheaping out on a quality tripod. I was hiking dozens of hours/miles and thousands of altitude meters with a 5lbs no-name aluminium tripod from Amazon that eventually fell apart. It doesn't sound like much, but compared to the carbon version of the Manfrotto BeFree (2.75lbs), it's a huge difference, esp. if you carry the tripod for large distances. You have to think in terms of what other items in your inventory it displaces. 2.2lbs is an extra liter of water or 2 big lenses.
This looks awesome! This looks like the perfect tripod. I shop at B&H all the time, I will need to check it out. I'm having a huge issue with my sound lately, I moved my studio to a different place and I can't get rid of the echoing, I used foam panels and tried correcting the audio in Premier Pro but still does no good. But I love your tips and tricks. Awesome knowledge, thank you.
really cool compact, slick tripod, great for travel and as u shown, the small setup attracts less attention.. thats really important and useful. The locking mechanism is really cool and new. useful.
For sure! Unfortunately I’ll have to dub all the audio on the beach because I didn’t want to attract attention with a big boom pole. But there’s not many lines in those scenes anyways.
What’s the difference with this version and the one that doesn’t have the Sony plate? Is it just a plate? On Amazon it’s $120 difference. It just wants to know if it’s the plate or if it has something else
📸What kind of camera are YOU using??🎥
The one you bought me! 😘😘
That’d be the Sony a74. 😉

Most definitely! I learned that lesson VERY quickly when I first started taking my full size tripod with me when traveling. 😂

Echo is always a pain. Staying close to the camera and hanging a carpet behind it helps. What kind of microphone are you using?

iPhone!📱
That works!
Aside from cost, how does this compare to the Peak Design carbon fiber tripod?
I’ve never used that one so I couldn’t tell you.
You know Camber I heard about a 8K quality video is well
Sure. I don’t have a need for it though.
@@CamberFilmSchool well 8k is 4320p quality
@theofficialicemariochannel5498 and also HUGE file sizes and more computing power required for editing.
I need the tripod height to be about a foot higher - suggestions?
What’s your budget?
I subscribed, you do too Colleague
Huh?
