I literally did this search because I have been drinking a soda called Fresca that contains aspartame...and I coincidentally pull up a video where there is a can of Fresca on the desk. The universe has impeccable timing!
Im drinking a diet coke while watching this video. I realized years ago the less coca cola i drink the more i enjoy the taste. Also drinking water cleanses palet of the taste of the cola. So the first week of every month i drink water for 7 days. I do this for the taste i never try to be healthy it just happens by accident. I got bored of fast food and junk food so i eat alot vegetables. I stopped using butter and salt. If the food can't taste good on it's own i don't eat it. I don't like cauliflower but enjoy broccoli. Most problems in the world come down to choice. There is always a trade off but people always want an exception.
If you drink one once a week like I do, shouldn't be a big deal, some people especially in America and Mexico seem to have addictions and drink liters a day.
Are you seriously telling me that stockpiling around 55 cases of diet pops each November before first snow is wrong? Usually they are done before their expiry date. Only around 20 cases right now as its summer and I can use my cart.
That sounds like a mild case of phenylketonuria (PKU). Since aspartame was developed it was recognized to be a risk for PKU sufferers, as it consists of an inability to process phenylalanine, one of the two amino acids comprising aspartame.
You mention that methane is toxic, and I have no doubt it is in 'large enough' doses. But it seems likely to me that the body in processing carbon-chain compounds would fairly frequently produce methane pieces as biproducts, and would have a mechanism for dealing with them, just as the body can handle a little bit of formaldehyde and other simple compounds toxic in large doses. Kind of like with the alcohols - we have lots of -OH groups around the cells, and we know the body can process out ethanol and methanol and other simple alcohols.
my understanding is yes, the body can handle a small amount of formaldehyde, which is a byproduct of methanol after it's broken down. Your body naturally makes formaldehyde in everyday functions, and aspartame wouldn't be significantly altering those levels. Formaldehyde breaks down very fast in the body anyway so I don't see how aspartame would cause any chronic effects
I know from my personal experience that after drinking one beverage with artificial sweeteners, I am sick with headaches, stomach issues body ache etc. for three days
My body gives me the sense that it is not safe. When I taste artificial sweeteners I get a very big alarm in my mind that says, "Do not ingest this stuff." I think our body speaks to us. But perhaps it's fine for you and bad for me. Who knows. But when my body speaks, I try to listen.
And there are plenty of people who smoke every day for decades without symptoms - BUT it seems to be a matter of luck, or maybe other lifestyle choices, that differentiates negative from benign reactions. It's still Russian Roulette. There is also a question of how much one consumes. The warfarin that is a life-protecting blood thinner when consumed in small controlled doses is the same warfarin put into rat poison for the same blood thinning effects, but in a lethal level. The body tolerates small enough doses of almost any substance, particularly if spread out over time.
@bobbyadkins6983 Thats the point. Theres loads of mindless drones and sheep who spout bs. Do your own research and you'll realise just how dark and sinister the world we live actually is.

Excellent demonstration! Good questions! I am doing a study on this.

Where does it come from?
Very well balanced video. Thank you
It seems to cause me nerves problems in eyes and central.

I am of the opinion that when our body speaks to us, we should listen. I'm sure you've stopped drinking aspartame and if so, good for you.

Yes but meat and eggs have all the essential amino acids not just 2 isolated
Love the Duck's 🦆🦆🦆🦆🥰
Wow you have a lot of ducks! Thanks for the info.
Do enough studies and there will those who says everything is bad for you.

You either have a sensitivity to caffeine or it is the placebo effect. You expect to get a headache so you do.
Have you been checked for PKU?
You're chatting absolute bs
I've been saying this for years, aspartame is safe. It makes no sense how it could be a carcinogen.
When it combined with caffeine it has higher dopamine effects which can lower serotonin and gaba levels

My uncle drank diet Coke every day for years and is fine

Great vid
Nobody ever mentions moderation as in all things.
So poison is fine in moderation? Are you for real or a bot for big pharma?
@@anthonyfaucy2761Name just one thing that you can't find someone saying it's bad for you on the internet. Just one.

@bobbyadkins6983 Humans in general are morons. Your point was?
I don't like the taste of aspartame.
