nice map! btw to the newer players, a higher wisps count is good but doesn't necessarily mean that the map is harder, what makes a map extremely hard is a combination of 3 types of wisps, an 8k wisps map with all 3 colors balanced is much much much harder than 11k blue+yellow.
isn't it known that 8k Primal Empowered is not the same as 1k Primal Empowered? Name is the same, but the scaling is not. So 9k is still really really hard
The moment when you run out of portals because you have to run back and forth between stash and loot... :P Thats really nice loot, better than my best ever for sure. ...also, that sound of loot dropping on the floor is reminiscent of fireworks so fits the theme of the day. Happy new year!
GOAT League - my highest map was about 3k/2.5k/2.5k, came out with 27 divines - 6 raw, 3 valdos, 2 keys, like 20 winged scarabs, 50 gilded....insane shenanigans

I had a run like this today, just more on my gear level. Insane Exarch Altars right at the start that turned the mobs into spawn-camping 1 hitters, along with increased aoe burning ground+ no healing. Had to abuse tp invul a few times, but I just HAD to get back into that map because the stuff I left on the ground was worth more than my entire league start stash. I dont think I ever felt thrills like this in any ARPG, its like freeclimbing but you keep going because you keep finding 50 dollar bills stuffed into the cliffside :D
That's the big difference to Diablo4. you will never see such happy and laughing streamers. And I'm not a D4 hater. I play both games. But in PoE I can look up to the streamers and think that I'll never achieve that. And that's a good thing. THAT's the reason why I watch better players :) In D4 I have exactly the same gear as everyone else and exactly the same build. In PoE I was so proud of myself when I reached level 90 in HC After many many many trys ^^. In D4 I did level 100 hc on the first try and was bored.

Everyones time down in the wildwood seems to last WAY longer than mine. Is there some way yo extend it without getting the little wisp balls? And I dont run in circles around that shit like he does, I get the event then go onto the next in the straightest line possible while following the wisp trails. So I just did a wildwood, got two time extenders, did not waste any light from the wisps and still only made it to 2 events.y time seemed far shorter than yours did raxx
i dont know what whisps are ive been ignoring poe since crucible ended and hate what they did to gems and uber lab BUT this makes me want to make an mf build so baaaad. i love d4 still and am ennjoying it but i miss MFing and playing the end game in different ways in poe. raxx idk if you;re new to poe but obviously it isn't your main game, you're doing INSANE brother. took me several leagues to make a char even close to this good endgame when i returned to poe last year and it still was not as good (righteous fire so good in it's own way esp for crucible,, and then dex stacker siege totems prior to that for sanctum, but making a really good mf char so early in a league especially is much harder and much more expensive)

@steveaguilar9833 a half ass scourge arrow of menace totem build. i have 2 well rolled ventors, goldwyrms and div distillate, comes out to 55ish Quant 110ish rarity. I haven't looked at the exact numbers because I really don't care, it's working lol
Full transparency, i havent played PoE in a loooong time. why is everything priced by divines now? For reference, last i played it was exalts, and the last 'new' boss i encounter was Malachai.
They changed the metacrafting costs. Basically you pay divines instead of exalted orbs to craft on the crafting bench which swapped the value of divines and exalts. It also made rolls on unique items more important because its not cheap anymore to divine them.
Yeah I agree with what you said at the end the drops weren't that good to be honest. I didn't want to ruin your hype but have you seen other jungle valley vids with over 10K wisps ? Some of them are just unreal. Like the type of maps that should be recorded as pieces of this games history.

why would you get mad over it ? its not the first time a league poops out insane loot. most ppl dont even understand that a map like this costs like 150-200c to run and its not like this every map this shit you watch on youtube are HIGHLIGHTS. if you can do a fully juiced up map with like 50-60%quant and 250-300%+ rarity on your gear, you will get alot of loot even WITHOUT the new league mechanic.
This man got 3k from one event.... that streamer client really does hit differently. I've run a 9k map evenly split between all 3 colors at t16 with MF and got one damn div and 20c, about 40c in bubble gum.
remember that league when streamers weren't placed in queue and most other people couldn't login / dced frequently at league start ? one of the reasons i've stopped playing this game.

This is not normal experience. Vast majority either dont know how to setup atlas/juice to get this level of loot or dont have a build that can clear it. Its probably less then 1% who have megaloot experience.
Lmao u dont have to make the same build look up detonate dead a very popular build that takes 2 button for trash mobs up to 4 against rares and bosses. Plus u have to walk over them to apply scorch so that ends up a pretty active playstyle. Most poe players actually just prefer 1 button builds. Im actually in the minorty casue i prefer multiple button builds. Look up jungroan alot of his builds have very active playstyles with tones of rules and conditions that needa be met

Yeah but each wisp individually only scales wisps additively, whereas the three types kind of scale multiplicatively with each other.

I've found that 3k is the breakpoint for the wisps. If you can get all 3 over 3k, you will be greatly rewarded.
