Wow!! As a Scottish person speaking, your Scottish accent is amazing!!! A lot of my friends from my arts university in England say that the Scottish accent is one of the hardest to do, and to do well. Very authentic! :-)

Your range is effortlessly authentic, the way you internalise British accents not only demonstrates an exceptional proficiency, but clearly a great love of the dialect too. That you can do it with such a glow, and and infectious smile really draws us all in. Well done Amy!

I love your flexibility to move between accents! You are fabulous. I don't want to nit pick, but a glottal stop is where the vocal folds slam shut the sound. The glottis is the space between the VFs. The epiglottis does not move unless you swallow. Anyway, I love listening to your videos!

For some reason, whenever I'm around someone with an accent (wether it's British-English, New York City, etc.) I always pick up on it and talk with that said accent without thinking about it. I remember I was in the mall the other day and this girl had a Scottish accent, I started talking in a Socttish accent without even knowing when my friend called me. She was so confused xD.

You are really wonderful. I've watched a lot of your videos, and I really enjoy them. I like your style, personality, and how you explain the linguistics (for me, personally, I learn better that way, the way you do it,...if I understand the mechanics it helps, vs. just sort of being told and trying to copy without "construction/development background" of the words. I wish your vids were longer. I don't know much at all about you. How can I "get more of you" so to speak? I'm in the States.

@amiablewalker "Greece! Yaaaaay!" How random and cute. Also, you're breathtakingly gorgeous, although I do sometimes wonder where the rest of your eyebrows went! ;-) I'm praying we'll see your talents in a feature film sometime soon, if even an indie production.
Nice tip about the Aussie "know"--going from knar --> know. Not sure what area this would be from, but I've also heard a bit of a 'y' sound at the end, almost is if you were saying "knowery", but all at once, without the dipthongs.

Love your videos, but was curious about something... What is it that you are looking at below the camera when you are filming? It seems as if you are seeing or reading something in real time that you are reacting to. Future ideas for videos: more emphasis on the Irish accent. You do so many well, but your Irish accent is amazing!
